Two Paper Divas~ Andy Warhol inspired

Happy Friday Crafty Friends, I'm back to share with you an lil' card I made for
http://www.twopaperdivas.com/shop/

Today, I went for an Andy Warhol inspired card using For Peep's Sake.
I started by embossing the images onto 2x2' square pieces of Watercolor paper with Black EP. Then I used 5 different Distress Inks in Broken Glass, Wild Honey, Abandoned Coral, Evergreen Bough and Seedless Preserves. I then dropped water droplets onto them and blotting extra water with paper towel, to add some texture. I then backed it with Black Cardstock and adhered it to my white and black card base.

The  Sentiment was done with 3D pop dots for added dimension and some enamel dots finished it off.
Of course, I had to tie the front of my card to the inside and here it is:

So there's a simple and fun lil' card using this month's new release. Don't forget to come back next Friday, I'll have another fun make to share with you!

Two Paper Divas~ For Peep's Sake

Happy Friday Friends, I'm back to share with you an EGGSTRA special lil card I made for
http://www.twopaperdivas.com/shop/

Using this month's newly released For Peep's Sake

I started by stamping the lil chick onto DP paper using Memento Potter's Clay ink and fussing cutting him out.The Shell was stamped onto crisp white cardstock with Memento London Fog.

I then created a lil scene using several die cuts from Memory Box and Die-Namites.I used 3D foam pads on two of the clouds for dimension.
Finished with the sentiment and Memento Danube Blue.

And Here's the inside of my card with another great sentiment from the For Peep's Sake set:

I sure hope I've inspired you with this simple but cute card and be sure to come back next Friday as I'll have another lil' make for you using another set from this month's awesome releases! :o)

MWLW New Release: Easter Egg and Basket

Good Morning Crafty Friends!

I'm here to share a card I made for
http://mywhimsicallittleworld.blogspot.ca/

This week's New Digital Release includes:
Claire, Easter Chicklets, and Mommy to Be

For this week's release I used Easter Chicklets.
I also used the Progressive Challenge Image, Some Bunny Loves Me and made a lil' easter basket.

Here's a closer look at my card:
I used CS from American Crafts and DP from Recollections. Used my EF from Stampin' Up! for some added texture. Finished with a die cut from recollections Sophia Collection. Added some yellow raffia and an Easter Egg from my stash.

I colored the image with SN Markers and Prismacolor pencils:

Here's the inside of my card:

For my basket, I started with a Cupcake wrapper from Michael's- you get 12 for $1.50!!! And I've had this idea for a while so when I saw them at that price...thought here we go...hahaha.
I glue the wrapper together, and adhered it to a base using my scalloped circle die. Made a handle from Yellow CS. Then Added the image and some bling.

Finished it off with purple paper "grass" and added some goodies!
