Craft Stamper~ Beauty in Simplicity

Woohooo! It's time for another Challenge over at

This month, "anything goes" as long as you have used stamping somewhere on your project. Easy peasy right?

Our prize this month is

What a fun prize- I so want to try these! Lol

This month, I used some Tim Holtz Goodies for my cards...yep I made 2!! Woot Woot!

I used Tim Holtz (Wild Plum) and Pinata (Baja Blue and Senorita Magenta) Alcohol Inks with blending solution on Yupo paper to create the background of the first card. I normally don't use a blending tool for my Alcohol Inks, but I found by just dropping the inks onto blending solution and blowing with a straw, it left areas a bit tacky where the AI settled and the Lift Ink didn't work as well with my image. So using the blending tool helped with using the Ranger Lift Ink...for me anyways lol ;o)

I then inked up the TH butterfly stamp/sentiment with Ranger's Lift Ink and stamped onto the AI panel. I then dabbed the areas with a paper towel...just ensure you use a clean part of the paper towel as you dab at new areas to avoid color transfer. Once you've dabbed most it, just wipe away the excess and voila, you have a pretty image show up in the alcohol ink.

With the ink left on the stamps, I stamped off the second card. I love the softness of it. :)

I finished both cards by adhering the panels to black cardstock bases cut to 4.25"x5.5". Some Nuvo Drops finished of both cards.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today!

I can't wait to see your makes in this month's Challenge! Be sure to check out the DT's makes for more inspiration and leave them some luv.

SCRAP N' STAMP~ You're A-MAZE-ING

Happy Saturday Crafty friends! It's time for another fun blog hop over at
This month the DT gals are showcasing Shaker Cards! Be sure to hop-a-long as there are 7 Tonic Die and Shaker sets for those who comment, like or share!!

Here's my lil' shaker card using You're A-MAZE-ING from MFT and Tonic Circle Shaker and Die Set. This set from Tonic Studios is pretty cool and makes Shaker Cards fun and easy!Die cut, stamp and fill the Shaker blister to create uniquely designed shaker cards. Eazy Peazy! ;o)

I started with some Canson Watercolor paper and spritzed water onto the panel front. I then added Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Inks in Magenta and let the color flow with the water- love the organic design you get.

Once dry, I used the Circle Shaker Die and cut out my center which I then stamped with the You're A-MAZE-ING maze stamp in Versafine Black Onyx Ink. I used White Versfine Ink to mark the correct maze path and heart that also comes in the set. I  added the maze part to my card base and used a bead to indicate the ball that came with these fun lil' handheld games, adhered the blister circle pack and then the watercolor panel to the card base. I cut out a black trim with my circle dies, splattered some black paint and the sentiment from the same set and Voila, a fun lil' Shaker card that's so easy to assemble. :o)

Here's how I finished the inside of my card:

SCRAP 'N STAMP~ Gelli Print Journal

Good Morning Crafty friends!! I'm uber excited to share with you that I'm now a DT Gal for

Woohoo!! They carry such an array of Crafty Goodness!! Be sure to check them out as there's something for everyone! ;o)

I was playing with my Gelli Plate, Stencils and Dylusions paints and had quite a few prints....so I decided to create a lil' 4.5'x5.5' Art Journal. I simply cut the sheets to my desired size and folded them in half using my Scor-board.

I then adhered the back sides of each page using Be Creative Tape. Once I had the book, I used Matte Medium and Duct Tape for the binding along with some fun Jane Davenport Washi Tape. I then used Cut out covers from another sheet of Gelli Prints and adhered to the Journal using my 3M Tape gun and Matte Medium.

I then watercolored the Penny Black "Portrait" Image using Distress Inks and waterbrush. SNS has a few Gorgeous Girls you can substitute for the Portrait Stamp, like Angelette, Grace and Isabelle.  I then decorated my Cover using  Prima Butterflies, TH Script Stamp in Archival Inks- Carnation Red, Tea Rose, Shadow Grey and Jet Black. I then added some doodles using White and Post Box Red Dylusions Paint Pens. I adhered the Prima Butterflies using My Zig Glue Pen.

Here are some samples of my inside pages that are just waiting for my imagination to fill them up!

I found having the backgrounds already done, helps when I want to create but don't have a lot of time or am just wanting to try a new image or technique. :o)

Again, I'm so excited to be on this Design team with these Amazing girls!

Be sure to join us on June 22nd for a Blog Hop using Photoplay's Oh Canada!
