Faery Ink~ September One Day Fae Giveaway

Good Morning Crafty Friends,I'm here to share a card I made for
http://faeryink.com/

Today this Digi, "Lahla Tiger Lily Fae" is FREE!! That's right...FREE. lol
Isn't she gorgeous!!??? Love her!

I did a white-wash technique on Kraft with this pretty fae. With a waterbrush I colored her first with a white craft pigment ink. I then colored her in with a waterbrush and Tombow and Distress Markers. Some pretty embossing and Prima Papers and washi tape finished off my background.

Some Black Nuvo Enamel and Avocado & Yellow Liquid Pearls added some highlights and dimension to my flowers. After fussy cutting her out, I adhered her to some Spellbinder die cuts (Cirlces and Beaded Circles). A CTMH sentiment in green finished it off.

And here's the inside:

I hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! Don't forget, she's only available for 24 hours!

Two Paper Divas~ Father's Day Card

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
I'm back to share with you a lil' make I made for

http://www.twopaperdivas.com/shop/

With it being Father's Day today, I made my Pop's a card using
TruckPick Up Lines and hearts from I Chews You

He used to own a blue '52 International Truck when I was younger, so thought this would be perfect for him. :o)

I used the White Washing Technique on Kraft again, as I like the watercolored effect it lends to images. I embossed the images with White EP onto the Kraft cardstock then did a white washing with White Craft Ink. Once dry, I colored it with a waterbrush and Tombow Markers. I finished with some buttons and twine to keep it masculine.

There we have it...a pretty fun, sentimental Father's Day Card. :o)

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty!

Don't forget to join our Challenge that is still going on! It's a fun one!

Two Paper Divas~ Tulips for you!

Happy Friday Crafty Friends, I'm back to share with you an lil' make I made for

http://www.twopaperdivas.com/shop/

using May's newly released Tulip Bucket Bouquet.

I love how pretty and rustic this Stamp is. I wanted a soft color palette, so I went with the White Wash Technique and colored it with White Pigment Ink and water. Hence the term “white wash”. Lol You then watercolor the image. :o)

I kept it simple with the embellishments so the focus was on the image. A sentiment from the new Sail Away set, which I embossed with White EP and  some white ribbon and bling finished off my card.

Here's a closer look of the image. I love this technique on Kraft cardstock. Lends a softness to the whole card.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty!

Join me next Friday to see another make using this month's new releases. Oh and don't forget there's still time left to join in our Challenge this month!

So Suzy Stamps~ White Washin' with Dragonflies!

Good Morning my crafty friends,I'm here, with some inspiration for

http://www.sosuzystamps.com/

Today, I have a cute lil' card set I made using
Suzy told me about with her card here.

I didn't know what it was, but her card is stunning, so off I went to comb thru Pinterest. Lol!

Here's my take:

You'll need:
Kraft cardstock
White Embossing Powder
Embossing Heat gun
Versamark Ink
White Craft Ink
Waterbrush Pen
Distress & Tombow Markers, or other Alcohol Markers
Dragonfly stamp
Sentiments, Sending a NoteThank You! used here
Embossing Powder for Sentiments
Paper Trimmer
Glue
Embellishments

Here's the technique I did:
1. I used my Static Buddy on the Kraft Cards
(cut to 3 3/4'x5'), prepping for Embossing.
2. Stamp the Dragonfly onto the Kraft CS, bottom right corner. Using my Misti Tool, I went ahead and stamped all 6 Kraft CS bases at once.
3.Emboss with White Detail EP and Embossing Heating Gun.
4. Take your White Craft Paint, smoosh some onto your craft mat (this prevents your ink pad from getting water from the waterbrush pen). Using your Waterbrush pen, pick up the white ink and white wash the image  by lightly "coloring" the image with a thin layer of "white color & water".
5. Allow to dry. Then color using alcohol Markers.

6. Emboss sentiments in top left corner.

7. Layer onto White CS bases cut to 4' x5 1/4'. Then layer this onto your 4 1/4'x 5 1/2' Card base.
8. Embellish as desired- I kept it fairly simple with MME Enamel Dots here.

Here's the finished cards:
