I then blended Distress Oxides: Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Cracked Pistachio, Faded Jeans and went around the outside with Black Soot. Added some white paint splatters for added texture and then die cut the sentiment from TH Holiday Words die set from Tonic "Silky Sky" Mirror card

I die cut 2 trees from the TH Woodlands set and adhered in between Lawn Fawn's Stitched Borders (Similar to Stitched Trails). Some Glass Bead Gel from Faber Castell added some glittery texture for my "snow".

TAGplorations~ Hug in a Mug!

Hello crafty friends, I'm back with a lil' tag for the

This month it's all about WINTER and the optional twist is: Texture Paste

I used the new Toasty  Mug stamp set along with CUTplorations Tags #1 and Hug in a Mug dies.

I cut out the tag using the Tags #1 large die from a piece of cardboard and peeled some of the paper back to show the corrugated paper underneath, then added some music paper and tore pieces from that so the exposed cardboard could peak through. I added some Dylusions Vanilla Custard paint with my finger to mute and soften the background...LOVE that color, it's great in lieu of white gesso for a softer, vintagey..is that a word?;o)..feel. I then distressed the edges with Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo Distress Crayons.

I watercolored the image from the Toasty Mug stamp  set with Distress Inks and fussy cut it out. I adhered it to my tag with foam tape for added dimension.I added some glossy accents to the coffee in the mug and doesn't it look JAVAlicious? ;o)

I then added the Hug in a Mug phrase die cut from Kraft paper and a little button and twine finished off my lil' tag.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! Oh and don't forget if you use code "STAMPGIRLAMY" you can get 20% off your purchase! :o)

Monster Mash Up!

Hello crafty friends! I hope y'all had a wonderful Holiday Season!
With the cold upon us, I decided I wanted some bright and fun little ATC's.

What's more fun then some little monster's? hehehe.
Here's my little Monster Mash Up using Monster Party from Create a Smile Stamps and Recollections I'm a Little Monster Collection. I won the Monster Party set at the beginning of the year and have not used them yet..why? I don't know...I think they are so adorable! But I found in cleaning my craftroom, I have quite a few stamps and art supplies I don't use...so that's my New Year's Resolution...to start USING MY STASH!! hehehe

I also am practicing my watercoloring...it's daunting for me, but I had a lot of fun making these little guys. I started by stamping the Monsters in Memento London Fog ink onto Canson Cold Press Watercolor paper. I then applied Distress Inks onto a Clear Stamping Block and used them to color up my little monsters. I used a white Signo Gel Pen for highlights and then fussy cut them out.

I created my backgrounds using Distress Paints (Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Red Brick, Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon) by swiping from the top or bottom edge into the center of the card.

I applied Seedless Preserves Distress Ink thru a TCW Mini Gothic Romance Stencil and then stamped using Tim Holtz Reflections Number stamp  with Jet Black Archival Ink. I also stamped a netted stamp to create more texture in my background. Unfortunately, I don't have the company name for the stamp as I got it at a craft swap.

I also stampedDylusions Clearly Borders , Doodled Delight and  Which Way Stamps onto book paper and then colored the Arrows and Doodled Delights with Distress Inks. I then fussy cut them all out and adhered them to my ATC's with Matte Medium.

I then glued my Monsters to the ATC's with Tombow Mono Aqua Glue as I didn't want the watercolors to reactivate. I then adhered my ATC's to the black cardstock cut to the regular ATC size of 3.5'x2.5'.

and here's the final lil' SLEEPY head...lol.

Thank you for stopping by today, and I hope I've inspired you with my Monster Mash Up!

Dream and Fears

Good evening crafty Friends,  I have some fun ATC's to share with you today using  stamps from

I used the fun Leave Your Fears & No Space For Dreams Sets today along with a Distress Ink Background.

I started with a piece of watercolor paper and applied Picked Raspberry, Mermaid Lagoon & Fossilized Amber Distress Inks with a Mini Ranger Blending Tool. I then swiped a baby wipe thru the Joggles Punchinella Trio Stencil. Once dry, I used the blending tool and applied Seedless Preserves Distress Ink thru a Crafter's Workshop-  Sketch Grid Stencil and Black Soot thru the Crafter's Workshop- Mini Cubist Stencil for added dimension. I then cut my piece down to two pieces at 2.25'x3.25'.

I stamped the Leave Your Fears image and Sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ink using my MISTI.

I added some doodling with a White Signo Gel Pen and Nuvo Enamel Drops and finished by mounting the piece to black cardstock cut to regular ATC size of 2.5'x3.5'.

I did the same with the Dreamcatcher and sentiment from the No Space for Dreams set.

Seeing as I had my supplies out, I also made a tag using the silhouette stamp from the No Space for Dreams Set.

I started with a tag cut from watercolor paper which I spritzed down with  water.  I then sprayed Dylusions Ink Sprays in Pure Sunshine, Post Box Red & Tangerine Dreams. I embossed the silhouette stamp with white detail embossing powder and stamped the sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ink.  I then added some background texture with the stiched stamp from 49 & Market- Gabi's Line Stitched set with Rhubarb Stalk Memento Ink

Here's a close up of the embossed silhouette which I think "POPS" from the watercolor like background.

I sure I've inspired you to get INKY & CRAFTY today.
