Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a journal cover I made for
using the new release "Cheerful Mushroom Fae".
I knew as soon as I saw this image that I wanted to make a journal cover for a friend. She LURVES Fairies and those cute lil' mushrooms! hehehe
I started by priming the notebook covers with a layer of Gesso. layering pieced of torn DP and gluing it down using Matte Medium. After it dried, I used Twinkling H20'S in Jasmine, Ruby Red and Poppy Red. I then added some texture using Prima "Sunrise Sunset" Stencil and some Liquitex Modeling Paste . Stamped with various stamps in Archival Jet Black Ink and added some Doilies. Finished with Some Mushroom Die Cuts (sorry got these in a swap so don't know the name) and some white splatters using White Acrylic Paint mixed with water.
