SCRAP N' STAMP~ Remember the Now!

Good morning crafty friends, today I have a clean and simple tag using Tim Holtz Theories Stamp Set.

I'm a huge Tim Holtz fan and I just love this new set of his. It can be so versatile- for so many occasions. I don't know about you, but I struggle with masculine cards/tags and this set makes it easier for me! ;o)
I love brown and blue for a color combo  and added a little gold for some "pizazz".

I added some background stamping in Memento Toffee Crunch using Tim Holtz Reflections- Numerical stamp.  and then placed the image on my tag using the Tim Holtz Stamping Platform and stamped the image with Memento Nautical Blue ink.  I find the platform makes for a crisp image every time. A definite must need in your crafty aresenal!

I then added my sentiment by embossing a Sentiment from Tim Holtz- Handwritten Thoughts with Stampendous Detail Gold Embossing Powder. I added some Gold Paint Splatters, button and some Washi Tape to finish off the tag.

Voila! A quick and easy,CAS Masculine Tag! You can check out my blog post here for more pictures.

Don't forget there is still time to join in the "Christmas in July" Blog hop- so hop on over! ;o)

I sure love me some snowmen, so for CHRISTMAS IN JULY, I used Snowman Joy from Penny Black. I Die cut him 3x and layered each body piece.

For my background, I stamped snowflakes from TH Mini Weathered Winter Set with Versamark and embossed with HA White Embossing Powder. I then blended Distress Oxides: Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Cracked Pistachio, Faded Jeans and went around the outside with Black Soot. Added some white paint splatters for added texture and then die cut the sentiment from TH Holiday Words die set from Tonic "Silky Sky" Mirror card

I die cut 2 trees from the TH Woodlands set and adhered in between Lawn Fawn's Stitched Borders (Similar to Stitched Trails). Some Glass Bead Gel from Faber Castell added some glittery texture for my "snow".

SCRAP N' STAMP~ Color My World!

Happy Sunday Y'all! I'm back with a bright and colorful lil' tag for

Today, I used a cute lil' mini Lawn Fawn Set called Color my World and the matching Die set.

Started with a Stiched Tag die cut from Watercolor paper and applied Distress Inks in the color of the rainbow: Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Shaded Lilac and Seedless Preserves. I spritzed with some water for added texture and put aside.

I then stamped the crayons in the same colors I used in my background and then watercolored them using the Distress Inks. I stamped the little happy faces and sentiment using Versafine Nocturne Ink and die cut the crayons out and adhered to my tag using Nuvo Adhesive

I spritzed some crinkle ribbon with water and matching Distress stains: Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagood and Seedless Preserves. Once Dry, I attached thru the loop of my tag and finished with another Crayon. :o)

Here we have it, a bright and fun tag using some watercoloring, ribbon and Lawn Fawn's oldie, but goodie, Color my World!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Craftin'!

This month I used Altenew's COFFEE WITH A SPLASH stamp set. Mmmmm Coffee!!! ;o)
I used Distress Inks to create my background in Tea Dye, Vintage Photo & Gathered Twigs.  I then stamped the coffee rings around the edges using Brushed Corduroy.

For the main image, I stamped the coffee mug and sentiment with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I found it easy to split up the sentiment using my TH Platform.

I added some Washi Tape strips and white Enamel Dots to finish off my card and adhered the panel to Kraft Cardstock.

Here's the inside of my card:
