Crafter's Companion~ Spread the Magic

Hello, I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

Today, I have a card showcasing the Scalloped Edge Rectangle Dies along with Make a Wish and Acorn House stamp sets. :oD You can get all these great goodies from Crafter's Companion

I die cut the whole set of Scalloped Edge Rectangle Dies from Peach and Teal Cardstocks. I then inlaid the dies in alternating colors.

I then colored the Fairy from the Make a Wish set with Watercolor Markers and fussy cut them all out. Some Clear Sparkle Pen added a little pizazz to my Fairy. I stamped a sentiment from Acorn House in Parakeet SN Harmony Quick Dry Ink and the bow and flower finished off my card.

See you next time!

Faery Ink~ Rock on!!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a sassy card I created for

using the newly released Roxie Mother of Sin. I think this stamp is gorgeous as she is bad a$$! ;o)

Love her and couldn't wait to color her up!

I did her up mixed media style as I thought it went with her Rock and Roll vibe.
I used Dylusions Paint in Crushed Grape on watercolor paper for my base and then added some stenciled black lines and some white textured stars. I then added a circle stamp in Jet black Archival Ink for some added texture in the background. I embossed the sentiment from Fiskars in white EP.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers

I adhered her to the card with 3d Foam Tape.
Thank you for stopping by and I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today!

Faery Ink~ Gabbie Poppy Fae

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I created for

using the newly released Gabbie Poppy Fae. How gorgeous is she???
I knew I wanted to create a luscious scene for this pretty image as soon as I saw it.

I used Twinkling H20's in Poppy Red for my background, how appropriate is that? LOL! I just love the gold shimmer in it....unfortunately, the camera doesn't pick it up well. I then stamped the Dylusions Around the Edge-Leaves with Jet Black Archival Ink and colored them in with Cut Grass Dylusions Paint. Added some doodling with a Signo White Gel Pen and voila a vibrant and lush background. I kept the card CAS embellishment wise as I didn't want to distract from the image and background. I will add a sentiment once I know what I will use it for. That's what I love about Amanda's Faery Ink Images, they are so versatile and can be used for various mediums and occasions.

Here's a close up of my image that I colored with Spectrum Noir Markers and Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut out. I added some SN Clear Sparkle Pen to her wings- don't think the camera picks up all the
shimmer :o(

I adhered her onto my base card with some 3D foam tape to add some dimension
I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today!

Faery Ink~ Watercoloring with Tottie Breezy Fae!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I created for

using the newly released Tottie Breezy Fae. How cute is she???
I wanted to practice my watercoloring using my Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils.

I printed her onto some Strathmore Watercolor 9x12 sheets and colored her with the Aquarell Watercolor Pencils and Tim Holtz Water Brush and fussy cut her out and mounted her with 3D Foam Dots. I used DP from stash and a  Hero Arts "Hope Your Day Shines" (Retired) sentiment in Blazing Red Staz On ink. Finished with some buttons and twine.

Here's a closer look at the image- I learned to let your image DRY after printing before watercoloring...but all in all not too bad. :o)

I hope I've inspired you today to get crafty and try some watercoloring! Don't forget we also have a fun "FLOWER POWER" challenge over on FB- Come play along with us!

Happy Craftin'!

Faery Ink~ Coco Faery Artist

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a lil' make I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the Newly  Released Coco Faery Artist. Ok, seriously, how cute is she????
I started with a Painter's Palette I had, primed it with Gesso and sprayed with different mist sprays. I then added some texture with paint and stencils. I went online and searched for Paint Splatters and cut them out with my Silhouette Curio and  adhered them with Matte Medium. I also created my sentiment on the Silhouette Curio then traced and doodled with my Faber Castell Black Pitt Pen and White Signo Gel pen.

I colored this lil' Artist with Spectrum Noir Markers and used the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens on her wings. Adhered her with some foam dots for added dimension.

I had a lot of fun with this make and hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! ;o)

Faery Ink~ String of Love Faery

Good Morning Crafty Friends, if you are looking for my TWO PAPER DIVA'S make click here. :o)

I'm here to share a card I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the Newly  Released String of Love Faery.
How gorgeous is she??? :o)
I did a soft BOKEH TECHNIQUE for the background as I thought it lent an ethereal feel to the image. I used Distress Inks in "Victorian Velvet" and "Shaded Lilac". Then went over it with Color Box "Frosted White" and a home-made stencil using acetate and Lifestyle Crafts NESTING CIRCLES dies in various sizes.

I colored this beauty with Spectrum Noir Markers and fussy cut her out. Then I went over her gown with Wink of Stella for some shimmer.

and here's a side view where you can see I propped her up with Foam Dots for dimension.

I finished off with a sentiment from Crafter's Companion "Party Paws- Bamboo Treats" set

Thank you for stopping by and I hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! :o)

Faery Ink~ Gabbie the Orchid Faery

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the newly released "Gabbie the Orchid Faery".
I just love the lush flowers and gorgeous details on this image. A  definite MUST HAVE- can be for Birthday's, missing you, thinking of you or just a "Hello"!! I think that's why I'm so in love with Amanda's images, they are so versatile. :o)

I went with a red, green and black color palette to keep the lush colors but not have it look like Christmas and I think the black accomplishes that. I used CS from Recollections and DP from Momenta.

I colored the image with SN Markers and added some twine and flowers from my stash. I then finished with some Aged Ivory Frantage and voila!

Of course I had to finish the inside of the card with the same design as the front using a sentiment from Happy Valentines Day set by Jessica Lynn Original and Red Staz On Ink :

Hope I've inspired you to get crafty today.

Happy Crafting!

Faery Ink ~ Cheerful Mushroom Fae

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a journal cover I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the new release "Cheerful Mushroom Fae".
I knew as soon as I saw this image that I wanted to make a journal cover for a friend. She LURVES Fairies and those cute lil' mushrooms! hehehe
I started by priming the notebook covers with a layer of Gesso layering pieced of torn DP and gluing it down using Matte Medium. After it dried, I used Twinkling H20'S    in Jasmine, Ruby Red and Poppy Red.  I then added some texture using Prima "Sunrise Sunset" Stencil and some Liquitex Modeling Paste Stamped with various stamps in Archival Jet Black Ink and added some Doilies. Finished with Some Mushroom Die Cuts (sorry got these in a swap so don't know the name) and some white splatters using White Acrylic Paint mixed with water.
Here's a closer look at the image I colored with SN Markers:

and the back cover:

Faery Ink~ Owl Ride

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the New Release "Owl Ride" Digi.
I started with a piece of water colored paper and gluing down little square scraps of paper in both the top left and bottom right corners. I then went over them with Twinkling H20's in Cinnamon and Burnt Umber; I also added a few swipes of Gesso to break up the color a bit. I stamped feathers and "Fly Away" from Hampton Arts "Birds" Stamp and Stencil Vintologie Set in Jet Black Archival Ink and added some Burlap and Cheesecloth from my stash. Finished it with some Recollections Bling Dots.

I printed the image onto Kraft Cardstock and colored it with Prismacolor Pencils. Love the softness it lends to the image.

I used Foam Dots to give the image more dimension:

And here's the inside of my card using a sentiment and feathers from Hampton Arts "Birds" Stamp and Stencil Vintologie Set:
