Dream and Fears

Good evening crafty Friends,  I have some fun ATC's to share with you today using  stamps from

I used the fun Leave Your Fears & No Space For Dreams Sets today along with a Distress Ink Background.

I started with a piece of watercolor paper and applied Picked Raspberry, Mermaid Lagoon & Fossilized Amber Distress Inks with a Mini Ranger Blending Tool. I then swiped a baby wipe thru the Joggles Punchinella Trio Stencil. Once dry, I used the blending tool and applied Seedless Preserves Distress Ink thru a Crafter's Workshop-  Sketch Grid Stencil and Black Soot thru the Crafter's Workshop- Mini Cubist Stencil for added dimension. I then cut my piece down to two pieces at 2.25'x3.25'.

I stamped the Leave Your Fears image and Sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ink using my MISTI.

I added some doodling with a White Signo Gel Pen and Nuvo Enamel Drops and finished by mounting the piece to black cardstock cut to regular ATC size of 2.5'x3.5'.

I did the same with the Dreamcatcher and sentiment from the No Space for Dreams set.

Seeing as I had my supplies out, I also made a tag using the silhouette stamp from the No Space for Dreams Set.

I started with a tag cut from watercolor paper which I spritzed down with  water.  I then sprayed Dylusions Ink Sprays in Pure Sunshine, Post Box Red & Tangerine Dreams. I embossed the silhouette stamp with white detail embossing powder and stamped the sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ink.  I then added some background texture with the stiched stamp from 49 & Market- Gabi's Line Stitched set with Rhubarb Stalk Memento Ink

Here's a close up of the embossed silhouette which I think "POPS" from the watercolor like background.

I sure I've inspired you to get INKY & CRAFTY today.

Sparkle in the Rain

Happy Sunday y'all! I'm here to share with you my latest art journal page using the SPARKLE IN THE RAIN silhouette stamp from

Here's my journal page:

I started by adhering different sized paper pieces from Carte Bella with Matte Medium. Once dry I added some Golden Crackle paste and Prima Rock Glitter to random areas.

I then applied layers of Liquitex Paints in greys, white and black in a circular motion onto my page with  a brush and my fingers :o). I added some text to the background with a Text stamp in Jet Black Archival Ink

I stamped the image from Sparkle in the Rain set onto cardstock and fussy cut her out. I then painted her in Red Liquitex paint. Once dry, I adhered her to my layout with Matte Medium. I finished with some Tim Holtz Chat stickers.
Kinda looks like James Bond  doesn't it? LOL!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by!

Jazz It Up!

Happy Wednesday crafty friends! Today I have a lil' card for you using the Gesso Resist Technique and the Jazz It Up image from Visible Image.

I started by scraping some Gesso onto Strathmore Mixed Media Paper. I then applied Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple Distress Inks. As you can see the Gesso acts as a resist and adds a layer of texture to your background without the "bulk" of texture pastes. I then stamped the Jazz Player onto my piece with Jet Black Archival Ink using my MISTI, and once dry I went over it with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen. I added the sentiment in Red StazOn ink. Some washi tape added some more texture, which I went around with my Black Soot Distress Crayon for some shading, and also along the edges of the entire piece. Finally,  some black Nuvo drops finished it up. I mounted my piece onto black cardstock (4.24'x5.5') and Voila! You have a fun Masculine Card...which I always struggle with. ;o)

Thank you for stoppin' by and I hope I inspired you to get crafty today!
