STAMPlorations~ Wanderlust Travel!

Hello Crafty Friends, there's a WANDERLUST Icons and Dies Inspiration post here...be sure to check out what the DT Gals made using the new Wanderlust Series!! Simply Amazing!!! Be sure to leave them some luv too! :o)

Today I'm showcasing two makes using the Airplane and Travel Suitcase,  and passport stamps..these are all the larger versions  from the  Stamp lab WANDERLUST Collection! Woot Woot!

First up, is a card I made using the "ROAD TRIP" Phrase die along with the Large Travel Suitcase Stamp.

I started with Solar White CS and stamped the Suitcase image all around the base in Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I then stamped onto red CS and embossed it in Clear Embossing Powder. I then fussy cut the image out and adhered it to the card on top of one of the previously stamped images. I die cut the "Road Trip" phrase once in black and once in red CS and offset them onto each other onto the card. Once done, I added some black paint splatters and layered the base to red CS and a Black Card base.

Next up I did a Travel Journal using the "Make Memories" Phrase die along with the large Airplane and Travel Suitcase,  and passport stamps.

I started with a Journal Base, created from the Sizzix Journal Die, that was layered with TH Postale Tissue Wrap and colorwashed with Red JD Aqua Pastel. I then added a little map I created by cutting Atlas Paper and folding and adhering to the cover. I then added the Airplane I fussy cut out from Watercolor paper and watercolored with Distress Inks.

I also stamped and embossed the passport image onto red CS and fussy cut out and adhered to the cover. The "Make Memories" Phrase didn't all fit, so I connected the M's in the phrase. :)

I stamped the  Airplane and Travel Suitcase,  and passport stamps onto Shrinky Dink paper with StazOn Inks, fussy cut out and baked. I then attached them to TH Swivel Clasps and attached to the spine. Aren't they adorable? I just love how they turned out.

I created Envelopes for the inside of my journal using Atlas paper and created the inserts using CS, Watercolor and Kraft papers.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! Oh and don't forget if you use code "STAMPGIRLAMY" you can get 20% off your purchase! :o)

Oh and don't forget there is still time to join in this  month's "FOCUS ON THE SENTIMENTS" Challenge.

I started with 2 Tags from the Manila Tags Die Set cut out of Strathmore Mixed Media Paper. I  created a wavy stencil out of Acetate and used Distress inks (Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon) with a blending tool to create my backgrounds.

I then stamped the Sailboat and Travel Suitcase onto Book Paper and fussy cut out and adhered to my tags.

STAMPlorations~ Sanna's Stencil Release Hop!

Woohoo! STAMPlorations is having a Hop showcasing the lovely Sanna Lippert's Stencil Designs!

Be sure to  check out all her amazing designs...trust me, you'll LOVE THEM!!

I used Trees 1 and Flowers 2 and made an art journal page:

I used my Mini Art Journal ..which was a kiddies MDF book. I applied DecoArt NEON acrylic paints  with a brayer. Once dry, I applied a little white gesso with the brayer to soften the background. I then created a Circle mask from acetate and used the same bright acrylic paints thru the FLOWERS 2 stencil . This mask allowed for me to create the "flower bubbles" on my page.

I then used black acrylic paint thru the TREES 1 Stencil as I felt my page needed some black. I then used my Jane Davenport pen around my "bubbles" and doodled to highlight them.
I finished with my sentiment from Create Bold Sentiments set and the CUTplorations Uppercase Die set

I sure hope I've inspired you today and be sure to continue hoppin' as there are some AMAZING prizes up for grabs:  one winner of $20 gift certificate and two winners will win their choice of 3 Sanna Lippert Designs stencils! Winners will be randomly drawn from comments left on the STAMPlorations blog and participating designers blogs so be sure to leave comments along the way!

Here's my makes using ARTplorations Two Feathers Stencil, STAMPlorations Smile
& Trendy Feathers 2 stamp sets and CUTplorations Smile Word Die

I went with fun Spring Colors and of course Feathers are "Things with Wings". I started with some old Library cards that I applied Gelatos in random color blocks. I laid the Two FeathersStencil on and applied white acrylic paint around the stencil so only the Gelato's beneath the feather peeked through.

I then stamped feathers from the Trendy Feathers 2 set onto acetate with StazOn Ink in Olive Green and Blazing Red and fussy cut it out once dried. I adhered it to the stenciled feather with a thin line of clear glue.

I then stamped sentiments from the Smile Stamp Set and added the Smile diecut. I finished with a fun doodled border using Sharpie Markers and adhered it to a CS base.

I loved how these turned out and they were so fun to make. I sure hope I've inspired you to Link Up and to continue Hoppin' along!

STAMPlorations~ Hello Sunshine!

Good Morning Coffee lovers, today marks another day in the

and STAMPlorations is one of the amazing Sponsors!

Be sure to join in using any tea, coffee or cocoa images with a SPRING theme. :o)

Today, I made a card using Rise and Grind Stamp set.
I started with a 4 x 5.25' piece of watercolor paper and added Distress Oxides in Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet onto my craft sheet, spritzed with water and smooshed my paper onto it - drying it in between layers so my colors didn't get muddy.

I thenstamped the image onto Design Paper from my stash and cut them out and paper pieced it together onto my card. I used Distress Crayons to highlight the image. I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Purple Archival Ink and finished with some Washi in green and purple.

I sure hope you've been inspired to join in this fun hop!
