Lil' Study Owl!

For Challenge #252 our challenge is:

1-2-3 Recipe

(use 1 image, 2 papers and 3 Embellishments on your card) 

I used Study Owl for my creation this week...my last challenge with Meljen's as Melissa is closing shop BUT be sure to follow her new crafty endeavors! I wish her luck on her new adventure!xx


 DP's are from DCWV and CS from American Crafts. I used a Sentiment from Hero Arts and 3 different embellishments (Twine, button and enamel dots from my stash). 

I colored this Owl as a chick since Spring is upon us with SN Markers and White Gellyroll Pen.

Showered with Love

For Challenge #250 our challenge is:

SEEING DOUBLE

(use 2 images on your card) 

I used Shower of Love and Sweetheart Shower.
I used DP's from my stash and CS from American Crafts.  Finished with Sequins and flowers from my stash and Leaves from Memory Box Dies. 

I Paper Pieced the Umbrella and colored the cloud with SN Markers:

I 3D the Umbrella and cloud with Pop dots for added dimension:

Sweet Little Lop

For Challenge #248 our challenge is


I went with: TWINE, PEARLS and PUNCHES using Sweet Little Lop.

I used CS from American Crafts and DP fron DCWV "Citrus Stack".  Used my flower punch from EK Tools and pearls and twine from my stash. I finished with a Pennant Sentiment from Heidi Swapp. 

I colored the image with SN Markers and used my Labels Dies from Spellbinders:

Hearty Hippo!

For Challenge #246, our challenge is a

SKETCH

I used Hearty Hippo as Valentine's is just around the corner. 
I used DP from DVWC and CS from Recollections. Used Oval and Scalloped Ovals from Spellbinders and finished with Enamel dots from my stash.  I embossed a Hero's Arts Sentiment in MS pink EP.

I colored the image with Chameleon and SN Markers

If Kisses were Snowflakes...

Good Morning Crafty friends!

For Challenge #244 our challenge is

LET IT SNOW

I used Bundled Little Snowgirl and went with one of my favorite color combos of Pink & teal. 
I used DP and CS from Recollections. Used MS Snowflake punch and some Clear Bling dots from Michael's. Ribbon is from my stash. 

I colored the image with Chameleon Pens and SN markers.  Used Liquid Pearls for the snow flakes. 

I tried a different Fold, I'm sure there's a name, I just don't know it. ;o)


Here's the inside of the card with the same design as the front but with a Memory Box diecut and sentiment from Crafter's Companion "Let it Snow" Set. Its hard to read here, but it says " If kisses were Snowflakes, I'd send you a blizzard". Cute right? lol!

A fluffy Lil Penguin...

For Challenge #242 our challenge is

Winter Color Palette


I used Fluffy Baby Penguin for this challenge as it's just too cute! ;o)

I used the dark Blue, Purple and pink from the color Palette. 
CS is from American Crafts and DP is from Recollections "Mosaics" Collection. Finished with a Wooden Heart  button, twine and Enamel Bling dots from my stash. 

I colored the lil' guy with SN markers and white Gellyroll pen.

Thank you so Mud!

Good Morning Crafty Friends!

It's my turn to host Design Team Day over at Meljen's Designs

I did up a card using the adorable Piggy Bath

I just love, I mean LOVE pigs! So I couldn't wait to create with this one. ;o)

DP is from Craft Smith and CS from Recollections. 
I used a lot of dies here lol- Circle dies from Lifestyle Crafts, Beaded Circles from Spellbinders, Bows from Memory Box, Heart from Sizzix and Sprigs from Marianne Creatables. I paper pierced a border and finished with twine from my stash.

 I colored the image with SN Markers, Spica Pens and Distress Markers. 


I wanted to give it some texture, so I used glossy accents on the "mud" and added just a bit of Brown Superfine Glitter  while it was still wet.

IT'S A WRAP
(use wrapping paper on your project)


This image just makes me giggle! hehehehe
I used silver/green wrapping paper and Checkered DP and CS from Recollections. Used a Diecut of a string of lights (got it at a Craft swap, so don't know the name). Finished it with Twine and a star diecut slider.

I colored the image with SN Markers and Prismacolor pencils. 

I used the same DP's and Layout inside with a sentiment from Recollections.

Frosty Face!

For Challenge #238 our challenge is

TAGS
(use a tag on your card)

I used Frosty Face 
for this challenge. He's only $1.00 in the store PLUS he's 50% off until December 15th! And how cute is he?

 DP and CS are from Michael's. I used the Wreath Bow Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Cut two of them and layered them for a fuller effect. Made a tag with and eyelet and ribbon- embossed a Recollections sentiment with Shimmer Green EP from Michael's. Finished it with Bling Strips from my stash. 

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut him out.

Holly Christmas Fairy!

For Challenge #236 our challenge is

Hot Chocolate
(use brown on your card)

Since I'm still scrambling to get my Christmas Cards done, I went with a Christmas theme this challenge.:o)
 
  I love pink and brown together so it was perfect for the "Hot Chocolate" Challenge!

DP is from Recollections and CS from American Crafts. 

I colored the image with SN Markers and Moon Dust Gellyroll Marker on the fur trim. White Gellyroll Marker was used for highlights and the freckles. I used Stickles on the dots and swirls for dimension. I inked around the image to soften it up with Pink from Martha Stewarts Crafts.

I finished it off with Leaves Die from Memory Box for the Corner Holly leaves, bling and ribbon from my stash. I used an Annette Allen Watkins Sentiment in Memento's Potter's Clay to keep with the color palette.

Say Cheese!

For Challenge #234 our challenge is

PEEK-A-BOO!
(have a hidden element on your card)

Sounds cool to have a hidden element on your card that surprised someone. :o)

I used  Camera Mouse on the front of the card:
DP is from my Minds Eye and CS from Recollections. Enamel dots are also from Recollections. 

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and SN Markers. Used Glossy accents on the flash and lens.

Now for my hidden element:
-Lens Closed-

-Lens Open-

I layered the lens part 3x and created a flap for it with a Magnet to open and close it. "Smile" stamp is from stash.

Here's the inside using Say Cheese Sentiment
The photo stamp is from Fiskars and cut out to showcase the sentiment. 

I had a lot of fun with this challenge and I hope I've inspired you to join in the fun.
