STAMPlorations~ Sunday Stencil #101

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm sharing a tag I made for STAMPlorations Sunday Stencil #101. The designers have created some fabulous mixed media projects to inspire you. You can find them  here so be sure to check them out and leave them some luv! :o) 

Today I used ARTplorations  Emanations Stencil along with sentiments from Bold Sentiments: Explore STAMPlorations Stamp Set. 

 A pretty quick and easy background using a watercolor paper tag and some Distress Oxide inks applied thru the Emanations Stencil. I splattered some White acrylic paint and let dry. I used some Brushos in Orange and emerald green on an airplane diecut and applied some washi tape from my stash onto the tag. Stamped sentiments from the
Bold Sentiments: Explore STAMPlorations Stamp Set and used foam tape for added dimension to adhere the sentiments and airplane. Some ribbon and button finished off the tag.

STAMPlorations~ January Challenge!

Happy Sunday crafty friends! It's that time again...

A new challengestarts today at STAMPlorations! :o)

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card! Just remember you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. You have until the end of the month to play!   

Here are some ATC's I made using ARTplorations  Stained Glass stencil and STAMPlorations Art Marks, Bold Sentiments: Create & Bold sentiments:Explore stamp sets.

I started with a piece of watercolor paper that I had dipped into water with alcohol inks. I then blended over the Stained Glass Stencil in Mermaid Lagoon, Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. I stamped randomly with stamps from the ART MARKS set and then sentiments from the CREATE and EXPLORE Bold Sentiments set in Jet Black Archival Ink. I finished with some Washi Tape and Ebony Black NuvoDrops. My finished ATC's were then matted to black cardstock as I love how it grounds and makes the design bolder.

STAMPlorations~ November Challenge~ Explore the World!

Happy Sunday crafty friends! It's that time again...

A new challenge starts today at STAMPlorations!! Woohoo! 

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card! Just remember you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. You have until the end of the month to play! 

So this month I played with STAMPlorations Bold Sentiments- Explore and Artsy Border Maker along with ARTplorations Hearts All Over Stencil. LURVE the bold sentiments! :o)

 I started with a #8 Manilla Tag and used Distress Paints (Mermaid Lagoon, Abandoned Coral and Peeled Paint) and spritzed it with water to blend. Once it was dry, I used Black Soot Distress Ink with the Hearts All Over Stencil to add some background texture. I then stamped the Border from the Artsy Border Maker Set and the Sentiments from the Bold Sentiments- Explore sets with Jet Black Archival Ink. I added some White lines to the sentiments and splatters with my White Molotow One4All Paint Pen. Some cute Air Balloon die cuts, button and twine finished it off.
