Hello Crafty Friends, there's a WANDERLUST Icons and Dies Inspiration post here...be sure to check out what the DT Gals made using the new Wanderlust Series!! Simply Amazing!!! Be sure to leave them some luv too! :o)
Today I'm showcasing two makes using the Airplane and Travel Suitcase, and passport stamps..these are all the larger versions from the Stamp lab WANDERLUST Collection! Woot Woot!
First up, is a card I made using the "ROAD TRIP" Phrase die along with the Large Travel Suitcase Stamp.
I started with Solar White CS and stamped the Suitcase image all around the base in Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I then stamped onto red CS and embossed it in Clear Embossing Powder. I then fussy cut the image out and adhered it to the card on top of one of the previously stamped images. I die cut the "Road Trip" phrase once in black and once in red CS and offset them onto each other onto the card. Once done, I added some black paint splatters and layered the base to red CS and a Black Card base.
Next up I did a Travel Journal using the "Make Memories" Phrase die along with the large Airplane and Travel Suitcase, and passport stamps.
I started with a Journal Base, created from the Sizzix Journal Die, that was layered with TH Postale Tissue Wrap and colorwashed with Red JD Aqua Pastel. I then added a little map I created by cutting Atlas Paper and folding and adhering to the cover. I then added the Airplane I fussy cut out from Watercolor paper and watercolored with Distress Inks.
I also stamped and embossed the passport image onto red CS and fussy cut out and adhered to the cover. The "Make Memories" Phrase didn't all fit, so I connected the M's in the phrase. :)
I stamped the Airplane and Travel Suitcase, and passport stamps onto Shrinky Dink paper with StazOn Inks, fussy cut out and baked. I then attached them to TH Swivel Clasps and attached to the spine. Aren't they adorable? I just love how they turned out.
I created Envelopes for the inside of my journal using Atlas paper and created the inserts using CS, Watercolor and Kraft papers.
I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! Oh and don't forget if you use code "STAMPGIRLAMY" you can get 20% off your purchase! :o)
