Happy Thursday Crafty Friends!

I'm here to share with you my make for
http://juliaspirichallengeblog.blogspot.ca/
Time for a new challenge and it is an Anything Goes Challenge with a twist!  Please check the rules here.

and the twist is:

USE SOMETHING OLD FROM YOUR STASH

So I found these vintage placemats in a box a while ago and hoarded them to use for a future crafty item. I decided that it would make a good canvas...just a bit of sanding and gesso and I had a repurposed canvas!

Here's what I made:

I used different Mixed Media techniques here using Texture, Spray Mists, Stencils (Microbial by TCW), stamping and 3D elements.

The flower stamps I got at a craft swap so I don't know who they are made by, sorry, but I stamped them in Archival Black and used my Faber Castell White Stampers Big Brush Pen

Here's a closer look at the embellies:

I hope you join us this fun challenge and be sure to check out my teamies amazing makes for more inspiration too and leave them some love! :o)

Thank you Mama Bear!

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Today, I'm here to share a lil' card I made for the Mama Bear in my life...lol.

I used stamps from Bear Hugs by Mama Elephant. Just love the image and sentiments in this adorable set!

I'm also, applying for the DT CALL over at Stamping Smiles Designs Challenges using their Tic-Tac-Toe.

So here is my take using  Twine, Kraft and Woodgrain.

I used Woodgrain Texture embossing folder by Tim Holtz and inked over it with Adirondack Dye Ink in Latte. Just love the texture! :o)  I then created a scene using Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders
and Nesting Circles from Lifestyle Crafts.  I added a Speech Bubble from We R Memory Keepers "Icons" Set and by masking the sentiment to get it to fit in the bubble. I finished with twine, button and enamel dots from my stash.

I colored this Image with SN Markers and fussy cut it out....I really need to invest in this matching die set! lol!

and of course I did the inside with the some more sentiments from the set.
Mama Bear, I love you!!

Happy Craftin'!

Faery Ink- Holiday Tree Destiny!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the new release "Holiday Tree Destiny". She comes with the baubles or without. Today, I'm using the digi without the baubles.

I layered White CS onto a Red Cardbase then added Sparkling Snowflake Corner from Memory Box. Love the white on white. :o) Punched some Martha Stewart Snowflakes in different sizes and used  a Close to My Heart Sentiment on a die cut from the Peaceful Snowflake Frame Set. Some Pearl finished of the snowflakes. :o)

I colored the image with SN markers and used Faber Castell Pitt Pen in Sepia then fussy cut her out.

I used Foam Dots to give her some dimension

and here's the inside of my card using the  other half of the Close to My Heart Sentiment on a die cut from the Peaceful Snowflake Frame Set:

Good Morning Crafty Friends, and happy Thursday!

Today this Digi, "Bella Candy Fae" is FREE!!

I started with a plain white Paper bag then cut some Recollections DP and CS to size for the background. I then stenciled with Metallic Acrylic Paint in pink on Pink CS before adhering the image.

I colored the image with SN Markers and added some white Gelly Roll Marker on her cheeks.

I finished by punching two holes and threading some pink Raffia ribbon and a button as a closure.

Faery Ink~ Demera Star Angel

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a mixed media Poster I made for
http://faeryink.com/

This month I got to work with "Demera Star Angel"
for my my inspiration.

I just fell in love with this image when I saw it! I just love the detail on the wings and her star halo!

Isn't she just gorgeous???

I've been on a Mixed Media kick lately, and had so much fun creating this! I created the background using parchment paper...yep..parchment paper. Love the texture it gave. Simply crunch up your parchment paper and then glue down onto your canvas, cardstock or paper. I used 140lb mixed media paper with Matte Medium for my adhesive. Allow to dry and then have at 'er. lol.

I used Gelato's in blue and gold, then went over it all with Stampin' up Teal Ink pad. I then added some Paper Smooches Star  die cuts and created my own sentiment on Pic Monkey.

I colored this angelic beauty with Spectrum Noir Markers and Prisma Color Pencils. Here's a closer look:

So Suzy Stamps~ Black Cat Prowl

Happy Saturday my Crafty friends!
Today I'm here to share with you a great way to use up your scraps along with the newly released stamps Halloween Cat & "Black Cats Prowl" from
http://www.sosuzystamps.com/

What I did was get some scrap papers in black and white and tear them up...that's right. Tear it all up into strips and pieces. I inked up the edges with Distress Ink- Black Soot. I just love this color as I find it softer for edging. Now here's the fun part...start gluing your strips randomly with Modge Podge. Add Modge Podge to the base, add your strip and go over with the Modge Podge again. Such a fun and great way to use up your scraps and you get different designs every time! :o) Layer this onto black card stock and layer that to a white base card. Voila!

I then did a die cut using Spellbinders Labels 14 with white card stock. I inked up the "Black Cats Prowl" sentiment with Memento London Fog
ink and stamped the  Halloween Cat stamp with Black Archival Ink.  I just love that Cat Stamp!! I finished by inking the edges again with Distress Ink- Black Soot. Added some twine and a Mini Ghosts chipboard embellie.

Here's how I finished the inside with the
Halloween Cat stamp:

So Suzy Stamps~ Haunted House

Happy Saturday my Crafty friends!
Today I'm here to share with you a cute and spooky lil' card I made using the newly released stamps Haunted House, Bat & "Safest Day" from
http://www.sosuzystamps.com/
Here's my lil' card:

I started by embossing the Haunted House with black detail embossing powder onto Watercolor card. Then I masked off the "moon" and inked with distress inks- "Chipped Sapphire" & "Dusty Concord". I took off my mask and inked with "Squeezed Lemonade". I stamped only the "Halloween" portion of the "Safest Day" Sentiment, also with black archival ink.

I then inked up Bat and stamped him using Black Archival Ink. This month we are also showcasing Halloween Chipboard embellishments from Unique Laser Designs. Thank you Shilo!:o)

These little sets will be available in Suzy's store here .

I used two little Mini Ghosts and the tombstone from Halloween Mini Shapes set. I used Gesso on them and then inked them lightly with Black Soot Distress ink. I also used a Faber Castell Fine Black Pitt Pen
to make "RIP" and some writing.
I also used Spectrum Noir Markers, Black Pitt Pen and White Signo Gelly Pen for my walkway up to the Haunted House

I then stamped the other portion of the "Safest Day" Sentiment inside along with Bat:
