Robyn's Fetish Challenge #187- VINTAGE STYLE

Hello my lovely fellow bloggers!

For Challenge #187 over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge the theme this week is:

VINTAGE STYLE

Our amazing sponsor this week is:

Prize: $12 Gift Certificate to the store

I had the pleasure of working with Things Missed Vintage Set 2. These images are so sweet and adorable!

Ok, I don't ever do Vintage cards, so when this theme came around I started sweating immediately. hehehe So a good friend of mine, Susan, gave me some pointers on making cards look vintage. I hope you like my first attempt.

I colored the image in SN markers, but I wanted to make it soft and look like it was vintage, and I love how it turned out!

For this card I used my Distressing tool on the edges...it was a first for that too. Think it could have used more! lol. I also Inked all the edges with Tea Stain Distress Ink.

Card Recipe:
CS: Recollections Kraft
DP: DCWV
Coloring Medium:SN Markers
Ink: Tea Stain Distress Ink
Dies: Savannah Border and Delicate Chain from Memory Box
Flowers: Recollections and Prima Flowers
Embellies: Liquid Pearls in Platinum Pearl & Buttercup Yellow, Button from Recollections

I can't wait to see your creations this week! Be sure to check out the amazing creations from my teamies too!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Happy Craftin'!
