I had the pleasure of working with Things Missed Vintage Set 2. These images are so sweet and adorable!

Ok, I don't ever do Vintage cards, so when this theme came around I started sweating immediately. hehehe So a good friend of mine, Susan, gave me some pointers on making cards look vintage. I hope you like my first attempt. 

I colored the image in SN markers, but I wanted to make it soft and look like it was vintage, and I love how it turned out!

For this card I used my Distressing tool on the edges...it was a first for that too. Think it could have used more! lol. I also Inked all the edges with Tea Stain Distress Ink.

For this week's challenge I used Cornucopia with Fall Sentiments 2. 

 The card base is Kraft from Recollections and the DP is from My Minds Eye "Graceful". 

I colored the images with SN markers and inked them with "Tea Dye" Distress Ink. I highlighted with white Gellyroll pen.

I liked the softness of the DP's with the inked images so I kept the embellies neutral. The buttons are from my stash. The orange and brown twine are from American Crafts.

We had the pleasure of working with the Happy Fall collection. 

I made an easel card this week. I like how it showcases the fall elements. 

I used CS from American Crafts. I used the Dots EF from Embossalicious. The Jewels, Twine (Orange and Brown) and leaves are from my stash. 

I colored the images with SN Markers and inked the edges of the main image with Distress Ink in "Tea Dye".

I had the pleasure of working with the uber cute "Cozy Cocoa" digi.

I used DP's from GCD Studios "Natural Beauty" set and CS from American Crafts. I used a white Gellyroll pen for the faux stitching. Enamel dots are from My Minds Eye. The Ribbon is from my stash. I used the Labels Fourteen Die from Spellbinders on the sentiment, which is included in the Digi Set.

I colored the image with SN markers and used Liquid Pearls in White for the marshmallows. Can't have cocoa without marshmallows! ;o)

I used Pussy Cat Luv Digi.

I went with a shaped card this week, as I wanted to work in the heart (from Sizzix) behind the image. I colored the image with SN markers. Used CS from Recollections and American Crafts. DP from Recollections. The doily is from my stash and inked in red Colorbox ink. The sentiment is a masked sentiment from Craftsmart. I finished off with Red and Black Bling.

I used Teddy Bear's Window Garden Box #4033.

I colored the image with SN Markers & glossy accents for the water. Yellow Stickles was used on the Hanging flower Centers (Right hand Side).

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #178- BACK TO SCHOOL

it's time for another challenge over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge! 

Our theme this week is : BACK TO SCHOOL.

We had the privilege of working with Bears at School digi set.

Here's my card this week:

I colored the images with SN Markers. The base CS is from American Crafts and the DP is from Upsy Daisy "See Ya Later Alligator". The twine is from American Crafts. The buttons and backpack are from my stash.

 I created the chalkboard from black CS from Recollections and DP from My Mind's Eye "Fiddlesticks Country". I stamped the sentiment (sorry I can't recall where it's from) in Versamark with White EP from Recollections. I traced over it with white pencil crayon. I've never done this "chalk" technique before, but I think it looks like the teacher is asking a question. hehehe.

The birthday sentiment is from Stampin' Up in Memento Dew Drop Teal Zeal. It was cut with the Labels 1 die from Spellbinders. The ribbon is from American Crafts.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #177- PEOPLE AT THEIR JOBS

It's Sunday, so it's time for another challenge over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge! 

Our theme this week is : PEOPLE AT THEIR JOBS.

 I used Sugar Cookie Toodle Digi.

 

Now, how cute is she??? I colored her with  SN Markers.

 

 

I used liquid pearls in Pink, White and Ruby Red. How delicious does that frosting look? I used Glossy Accents on the decorated cookies, and all the hearts. Smooch in pink, purple and gold were used for the sprinkles.

 

The DP was from Upsy Daisy Designs and Echo Park. The Cardstock was from American Crafts and Recollections. Pop dots were used to give the Image base some dimension from the rest of the card. Pearls, ribbon and flowers from my stash were used to finish it off.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #176- Must use Yellow, Blue & Red

It's Sunday, so it's time for another challenge over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge! 

Our theme this week is : You must use YELLOW, BLUE & RED on your card. 

Our lovely sponsor this week is:

 I used Charlotte and Her Strawberries Pudding Digi.

I colored Charlotte with Spectrum Noir Markers. I used lots of layers on this card in the Yellow, Red & Blue and minimized the embellishments as I wanted the Charlotte to be the focus. I used the Die-namics Blueprints 3 for the scalloped layers, bow and pierced "ribbon". I am LOVING this new die set- so many possibilities. I  corner punched opposite corners on the image with my corner rounder (not sure what it's called! hehehe).

To finish it off, I embossed "for you" from the "Tiny Wishes" stamp set from Penny Black in Red EP from Recollections. Oh and lets not forget the bling!! I used bling jewels in the designated colors! ;o)

So without further ado....JUMP INTO FALL!!

 

I used the Basket of Apples 2 from Robyn's Fetish.

 

I colored the digi using SN markers and fussy cut the image. Ok, I am SOOOOOOO not a fan of fussy cutting. No wait, that's not true, I love the outcome- just hate the process..hehehehe. But I loved how it came out..so the papercuts are worth it. ;o)

 

 

I finished the inside of the card with the same DP used on the front of the card.
