July's One Day Free Fae Digi from Faery Ink!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, and happy Friday!
I'm here to share a card I made for
http://faeryink.com/

Today this Digi, "Gabbie Flutter Fae" is FREE!!
Isn't she fae-a-licious??? Love her!

So hurry- quick, go and grab her while you can as she's only available for
24 hours!

Now, without further ado...
I've been on a "coloring on kraft" kick lately, but I just can't help it! I just love how the Prismacolor Pencils just "POP"!

I couldn't decide on DP's so I went with inking up Heidi Swapp- 6x6 Triangle set stencils in Broken China Distress Ink and Angel Pink Memento Dew Drop Ink to create a soft background. Added a So Suzy Stamps Warm Sunshine Sentiment
and some pretty Butterflies.

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils  onto American Crafts Kraft Smooth CS. Used my Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Circles to diecut the image.

Here's the inside of my card using the same design as the front:

I hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! Don't forget, she's only available for 24 hours!

So Suzy Stamps~ White Washin' with Dragonflies!

Good Morning my crafty friends,I'm here, with some inspiration for

http://www.sosuzystamps.com/

Today, I have a cute lil' card set I made using
Suzy told me about with her card here.

I didn't know what it was, but her card is stunning, so off I went to comb thru Pinterest. Lol!

Here's my take:

You'll need:
Kraft cardstock
White Embossing Powder
Embossing Heat gun
Versamark Ink
White Craft Ink
Waterbrush Pen
Distress & Tombow Markers, or other Alcohol Markers
Dragonfly stamp
Sentiments, Sending a NoteThank You! used here
Embossing Powder for Sentiments
Paper Trimmer
Glue
Embellishments

Here's the technique I did:
1. I used my Static Buddy on the Kraft Cards
(cut to 3 3/4'x5'), prepping for Embossing.
2. Stamp the Dragonfly onto the Kraft CS, bottom right corner. Using my Misti Tool, I went ahead and stamped all 6 Kraft CS bases at once.
3.Emboss with White Detail EP and Embossing Heating Gun.
4. Take your White Craft Paint, smoosh some onto your craft mat (this prevents your ink pad from getting water from the waterbrush pen). Using your Waterbrush pen, pick up the white ink and white wash the image  by lightly "coloring" the image with a thin layer of "white color & water".
5. Allow to dry. Then color using alcohol Markers.

6. Emboss sentiments in top left corner.

7. Layer onto White CS bases cut to 4' x5 1/4'. Then layer this onto your 4 1/4'x 5 1/2' Card base.
8. Embellish as desired- I kept it fairly simple with MME Enamel Dots here.

Here's the finished cards:
