Two Paper Divas~ Merry and Bright

Good Morning everyone, I'm back to share with you two lil' cards I made for Two Paper Divas  using the Merry & Bright stamp set.

Such a fun and versatile set for the holidays!
I love using non-traditional colors on Christmas cards.

My first CAS card uses Rose Bud Pink and Bahama Blue Memento inks with the Gray Flannel for the tops. I added the cord using a Micron Black Pen.

For my second card, I used So Suzy Stamps Petunia Pink (love this rich Pink color) with the Pear Tart Memento ink.  Some cute twine with silver finished it off.

Thank you for stoppin' by and be sure to join me next week to see another fun make using Two Paper Divas Stamps!!

Wait...don't forget to check out the Two Paper Divas Store as everything is now 40% off...that's right 40%! So go on and get your favorites now because once they are gone they are gone. Sadly, Two Paper Divas is retiring at the end of the year so quantities are limited! Gayla and Melissa are going to enjoy their retirement and I wish them all the best- they truly are FABULOUS!!! Please wish them well too on FB or on the blog. :o)

STAMPlorations~ November Challenge~ Explore the World!

Happy Sunday crafty friends! It's that time again...

http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2016/08/stencil-sunday-august-7.html
A new challenge starts today at STAMPlorations!! Woohoo!

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card! Just remember you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. You have until the end of the month to play!

So this month I played with STAMPlorations Bold Sentiments- Explore and Artsy Border Maker along with ARTplorations Hearts All Over Stencil. LURVE the bold sentiments! :o)

I started with a #8 Manilla Tag and used Distress Paints (Mermaid Lagoon, Abandoned Coral and Peeled Paint) and spritzed it with water to blend. Once it was dry, I used Black Soot Distress Ink with the Hearts All Over Stencil to add some background texture. I then stamped the Border from the Artsy Border Maker Set and the Sentiments from the Bold Sentiments- Explore sets with Jet Black Archival Ink. I added some White lines to the sentiments and splatters with my White Molotow One4All Paint Pen. Some cute Air Balloon die cuts, button and twine finished it off.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today and play along with us this month! :o)

I started with 2 #8 Manilla tags which I painted with Distress Paints in Mermaid Lagoon and Weathered Wood and spritzed with water for blending. I then stamped some mini trees from the  Trendy Christmas Trees set with Black archival ink. I then created my "Snowy Hill" by cutting out a Hilltop and using Faber Castell Micro Bead Gel thru the  ARTplorations Bubbles Mini Stencil. I embossed some snowflakes from the set with white embossing powder and stamped my sentiment with Black Archival Ink.

I then stamped my Christmas trees onto Recollections Design Paper and using the Trendy Trees Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I then topped the main tree with a TH Star Embellie.  Some blue/white twine finished off my Christmas Scene. :o)
