Faery Ink~ Coco Faery Artist

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a lil' make I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the Newly  Released Coco Faery Artist. Ok, seriously, how cute is she????
I started with a Painter's Palette I had, primed it with Gesso and sprayed with different mist sprays. I then added some texture with paint and stencils. I went online and searched for Paint Splatters and cut them out with my Silhouette Curio and  adhered them with Matte Medium. I also created my sentiment on the Silhouette Curio then traced and doodled with my Faber Castell Black Pitt Pen and White Signo Gel pen.

I colored this lil' Artist with Spectrum Noir Markers and used the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens on her wings. Adhered her with some foam dots for added dimension.

I had a lot of fun with this make and hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! ;o)

Journal Page~ We are all fragile!

Hi everyone! Only a few  more days until the weekend! woohoo! Hope y'all have some fun and crafty plans for it!

I'm here to share a Journal Page I did so I could play along with the CreativeKady Inpirational Prompt Stick Challenge "Try It Tuesday #4"

Here are the prompts:

and here is my Journal Page:
I started by priming my journal page with Gesso. I inked a background with different shades of Distress Inks in Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves so I could keep with the one color prompt. I then Stenciled over it with Shaded Lilac using Heidi Swapp Squared Lattice Stencil. For the orange prompt, I used Dylusions Circles Stencil ( DYS40668) and misted it with water in the top right and bottom left corners. I stamped some "Script" with an unknown stamp (got it at a swap sorry!) in Archival "Deept Purple" Ink. Punched out some circles from Dictionary Paper  and outlined with a purple Staedtler Karat Watercolor Crayon and went over it with a wet brush. Finshed with some drips using "Crushed Grape" Dylusions Spray. I also added some splatter using "After Midnight" for added depth. Used Golden Matte Medium to adhere the Quote I found on Pinterest that I printed onto Tissue Paper. I outlined the quote using Derwent Charcoal Pencil.

Finished by adding the Butterfly, with a little Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen , that I found online at PNGIMG.com and cut out using my silhouette. I added some pop dots to the wings for added dimension.

I had a lot of fun with this Challenge and getting Inky in the process! lol

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you leave a comment, as I love hearing form you! :o)

Faery Ink~ Steampunk Coco

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a Canavas I created  for
http://faeryink.com/

using the newly released "Steampunk Coco".
This image is absolutely perfect for Mixed Media with her gears and tools! Love the details on this Digital Stamp!
I started by mixing Twinkling H2O's for my background. Then I added some die cuts from the Silhouette Design Store which I enameled with Black, Bronze, Copper, Teal and Champagne Embossing Powders to get a rusty steampunk feel.

I colored the image onto Old Dictionary Paper and used Aquarelle Pencils.
Love the aged look I got. :o)

A sentiment, lace and embellies from my stash and there you have my Steampunk Canvas.

Hope I've inspired you to get crafty today.

Happy Crafting!
~hugs~
