STAMPlorations~ Sanna's Stencil Release Hop!

Woohoo! STAMPlorations is having a Hop showcasing the lovely Sanna Lippert's Stencil Designs!

Be sure to  check out all her amazing designs...trust me, you'll LOVE THEM!!

I used Trees 1 and Flowers 2 and made an art journal page:

I used my Mini Art Journal ..which was a kiddies MDF book. I applied DecoArt NEON acrylic paints  with a brayer. Once dry, I applied a little white gesso with the brayer to soften the background. I then created a Circle mask from acetate and used the same bright acrylic paints thru the FLOWERS 2 stencil . This mask allowed for me to create the "flower bubbles" on my page.

I then used black acrylic paint thru the TREES 1 Stencil as I felt my page needed some black. I then used my Jane Davenport pen around my "bubbles" and doodled to highlight them.
I finished with my sentiment from Create Bold Sentiments set and the CUTplorations Uppercase Die set

I sure hope I've inspired you today and be sure to continue hoppin' as there are some AMAZING prizes up for grabs:  one winner of $20 gift certificate and two winners will win their choice of 3 Sanna Lippert Designs stencils! Winners will be randomly drawn from comments left on the STAMPlorations blog and participating designers blogs so be sure to leave comments along the way!

STAMPlorations~25 Days of Christmas

Good morning and welcome to day 22 of
25 days of Christmas Tags blog hop event organized by Tracey over at her In My CreativeOpinion blog!

Today, the STAMPlorations gals are showcasing their Christmas tags and here are my 2 tags using Jingle Bells.

First, I created a tag by stamping the sentiment in alternating colors to create a background onto a Tags 1.

Then colored and fussy cut one of the bells with SN Markers and used Glossy Accents . A ribbon and embellie finished it off.

Next I embossed a Bell Image with White EP and then blended Distress Inks onto a Manilla Tag diecut and splattered some water onto it for texture.

I then colored the image with watercolors and fussy cut out and finished with a Gingham ribbon.

I sure hope I've inspired you today and don't forget to keep hoppin'!

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm sharing a coffee inspired tag I made for STAMPlorations Sunday Stencil #104. The designers have created some fabulous mixed media projects to inspire you. You can find them  here so be sure to check them out and leave them some luv! :o)

Today I used ARTplorations Super Bubbles Stencil, the CUTplorations Manila Tags Die along with sentiments from After Coffee STAMPlorations Stamp Set.

I started with a tag using the Manila Tag Die  cut from Kraft paper. I then blended Fired Brick and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides thru the Super Bubbles Stencil.  I stamped a splatter stamp from Stampin' Up! with Sepia Archival Ink to add some fine texture to the background.

I then Stamped the coffee cup onto water color paper with Sepia Archival Ink and used Distress Crayons in Vintage Photo and Walnut stain to color and highlight it. Fussy cut it out and adhered to my card. Added some steam lines with Brown Pitt Brush Pen and stamped the Sentiment with Ganache StazOn...supposed to be brown but looks black doesn't it? LOL!

Finished with Crinkle ribbon colored with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and a little Coffee Charm from my stash.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! Oh and don't forget if you use code "STAMPGIRLAMY" you can get 20% off your purchase! :o)

TAGplorations~ Home Sweet Home

Woohoo! It's time for another TAGplorations Challenge!

Yay! I do love me some tags and now STAMPlorations is featuring a monthly TAGplorations challenge with a theme and optional twist!
This month it's all about GRATITUDE and the optional twist is: Polka Dots!

Here's my tag album featuring TAGplorations Tags 1Uppercase AlphaLowecase Alpha and  Clustered Hearts Dies along with STAMPlorations Houses & Art Marks, Stamp sets.

I started by cutting 2 of the larges tags from the Tags 1 die set from chipboard. I covered the tags with some pale design paper and gave it a gesso wash. I applied Distress Oxides in Broken China, Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint , by sponging the colors directly to the tags to create my scenes. I stamped some stamps from the Art Marks set for some added dimension and used a text stamp from my stash for another layer.

I used my new Jane Davenport Aqua Pastels on watercolored paper and once dry, stamped the houses from the Houses stamp set. I fussy cut them out and adhered them to the tags. I do love the stripes of vibrant colors. Love, love, love! :o)

I cut out the "HOME SWEET HOME" using the Uppercase AlphaLowecase Alpha and  Clustered Hearts Dies and glued them to the tags with Tombow Clear glue.

I hole punched the side holes to connect my album with small binder rings which I colored with alcohol pens in blue and green. Some black ribbon tied it all together. lol!

I sure hope you join us for this fun challenge and I can't wait to see your FALL INSPIRED tags!

STAMPlorations~ Peace, Love, Joy ATC's

Yay! It's time for another STAMPlorations Mixed Media Monthly Challenge again!
Just remember to use a stencil in your make (and it cannot be a card) to be eligible to win.

So here's some ATC's  I made using Plaid Maker ARTplorations Stencil,  Noteworthy 2 STAMPlorations stamp set & Peace Love Joy CUTplorations Die:

I stared with some Mixed  Media Paper and applied Distress Oxides in Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Black Soot. I  layered the Oxides by drying in between each color layer.

I then cut my 3 ATC's to 2.25'x3.25' and applied Black Soot and Seedless Preserve Distress Oxides thru the  Plaid Maker Stencil. I added some Washi Tapes for added dimension.

I then embossed part of sentiments from the Noteworthy 2 stamp set with White Embossing Powder and added parts of the Peace Love Joy word die cut from black cardstock.

I finished by adhering my ATC pieces to black cardstock bases cut to ATC size of 2.5'x3.5'. Some Dimensional dots in purples finished off the ATC's.

I really had a lot of fun layering my ATC's with colors, washi tape and dimensional pieces. I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today and that you join us in this fun challenge.
