Two Paper Divas~ Sew Much Fun Tag

Happy Sunday everyone, I'm back to share with you a lil' Tag I made for Two Paper Divas  using the Sew Much Fun stamp set.

Ok, how CUTE is this set???? ADORBS!!

I started with a #8 Tag that I covered with Prima DP and distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I added some lace trim and distressed ribbon that looked like measuring tape. I stamped the adorable images onto water color paper and colored with Distress Markers and Waterbrush pen. I fussy cut them out and adhered them to the tag.
I had a dressform diecut and distressed it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and Liquid Pearls. I added some Prima DP for the top and trim for the skirt and finished with a Basic Grey resin flower. I stamped the sentiment out onto the same text Prima DP I used on the top with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and cut them out seperately and inked the edges with the same ink.

I finished this vintage inspired tag with some crinkle ribbon I dyed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays in Honeysuckle Coral and Steampunk Sepia sprays and added a button and pearl.

Wait...don't forget to check out the Two Paper Divas Store as everything is now 40% off...that's right 40%! So go on and get your favorites now because once they are gone they are gone.

See you next week with another fun make using stamps from Two Paper Divas!

Sin City Stamps DT CALL

Good Morning Crafty Friends!

I'm here today to showcase a few of my favorite makes in hopes of joining the fabulous
Inspiration Team over at
http://www.sincitystamps.com/

If you haven't been by the shop, be sure to, as the selection is AMAZING!! Something for everyone and every occasion! :o)

As part of my application I have to showcase a few of my favorite makes using rubber stamps and mixed media supplies. It was tough choosing favorites LOL.  Although, I will say, it was a lot of fun to go back thru all my recent & past makes. Just click on the photo to be taken to the blog post for more details. So bear with me and wish me luck...here I go...

Ok, I had to go with shoes...as I LURVE shoes and making ATC's  so this was a no brainer for me. LOL I enjoyed using bright colors and some Distress Stains on the background and making the little flower charms from Shrinky Dink.

For my next pick, I went with altered items because  recycling things into something new
is a lot of fun. :o)

I adore Shabby Chic and Vintage even thought it's not my norm M.O. But I love challenging myself...and sometimes a stamp just SPEAKS to you and it works. (I love it when that happens lol)

I really enjoy trying new techniques, working with different mediums and I love, love, LOVE Color!! So here's a couple of my favorite makes trying something new with a burst of color. :o)

and who doesn't like a fun Journal Page??? hehehe

Well there you have it, I sure hope you've enjoyed my stroll down memory lane and wish me luck!

Once dry, I offset it to the right and used Distress Inks (Spices Marmalade, Candied Apple and Squeezed Lemonade) thru the stencil. I then mixed Orange, Red and Yellow Acrylic Inks onto cardstock and once dry, I used the CUTplorations THANKFUL Word Die and used a white Signo Gel Pen for the stitching.

I then stamped a circle die cut with sentiments from the THANKFUL stamp set in Red StazOn Ink and edged the die cut with white Pigment Ink to tie it into the rest of the tag. I added some dots on the flower stencils and around the circle die cut in Gold Sharpie Pen. To finish, I added some leaves, flower, button and twine. :o)
