Two Paper Divas~ Just BE...

Good Morning everyone, I'm back to share with you a lil' CAS Card I made for Two Paper Divas!

using the newly released BE. I love this words in this stamp set. Just empowering!

I kept my top folding card pretty CAS as I wanted the words to be the focal point. So I had them floating around in bubbles (Clarity Stamps Bubble stencils with Candied Apple Distress Ink) with the word "Be" in black. I love the contrast.
I placed the words in the bubbles using my MISTI and stamped with Blazin' Red StazOn ink.  You'll notice I don't have any words in the below bubbles as I thought the uplifting words should be above...like what we strive to be...not below. Well it made sense in my head when I created it. ;o) lol!

Thank you for stoppin' by and be sure to join me next week to see another fun make using October's NEW RELEASES!!

using the newly released Afternoon Tea. I love, love, LOVE this stamp...as it encompasses everything I enjoy...reading with a good cuppa! My vice is coffee but tea works too. :o)

I started by stamping the image in Black Archival Ink onto watercolor paper. I colored the image with Kuretake Fude Real Brush Pens....LURVE these! Faery Ink~ Rock on!!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a sassy card I created for

using the newly released Roxie Mother of Sin. I think this stamp is gorgeous as she is bad a$$! ;o)

Love her and couldn't wait to color her up!

I did her up mixed media style as I thought it went with her Rock and Roll vibe.
I used Dylusions Paint in Crushed Grape on watercolor paper for my base and then added some stenciled black lines and some white textured stars. I then added a circle stamp in Jet black Archival Ink for some added texture in the background. I embossed the sentiment from Fiskars in white EP.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers

I adhered her to the card with 3d Foam Tape.

Some Black Nuvo Enamel and Avocado & Yellow Liquid Pearls added some highlights and dimension to my flowers. After fussy cutting her out, I adhered her to some Spellbinder die cuts (Cirlces and Beaded Circles). A CTMH sentiment in green finished it off.

Two Paper Divas~ Mmmmm Donuts!

Good Morning everyone, I'm back to share with you a shaker card for Two Paper Divas!

using the newly released Just Donuts. How cute and delicious is this set?? I couldn't help but make it a shaker card so my donuts had sprinkles...cause what is a donut without sprinkles??? ;o)

I started by stamping the dounts with Black Archival Ink and coloring them with Spectrum Noir Markers. I then stamped the Sentiment in Pink Passion Stampin' Up! Ink and then cut out the donut tops and layered that onto some acetate. I added some fun foam to the backing and added my "chocolate sprinkles"- brown assorted beads from Recollections- and layered that onto brown shimmer cardstock so it's a delicious chocolate donut! ;o) Mounted that onto a pink striped card base and finished with some pink and chocolate brown Liquid Pearls and voila...delicious CAS goodness!

note to self: it's really DIFFICULT to take pictures that have acetate...get a reflection no matter what angle! DOH! hehehe.

and here's the inside I did using different sentiment & donut from the Just Donuts set with. Some glossy accents on the donut finished it off for a nice glossy finish!

Two Paper Divas~ HO HO HO!

Good Morning everyone, I'm back to share with you my first Christmas card of the year for Two Paper Divas!

using the newly released Ho Ho Ho. As soon as I saw this image, I just knew I had to do a vintage Shabby Chic card...it's just how it "spoke to me" lol! Now shabby chic isn't a norm for me so I hope you like it. :o)

I embossed the image on ivory cardstock and then used Vintage Photo, Tea Dye and Walnut Stain Distress Inks to age it and fussy cut it out. I added a little Frantage as well. For the base, I started with a piece of Ivory CS and and embossed Vintage Correspondence and then used Tim Holtz Mixed Media Die
for added texture. I backed it onto distressed Kraft CS and then mounted it onto an Ivory Base. A little "Noel" die from my Tattered Lace  and some seam Binding Ribbon finished it off.

Here's a close up:

STAMPlorations~ Sunday Stencil~ Explore

Good morning crafty peeps! It's that time again...

http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2016/08/stencil-sunday-august-7.html

A new challenge starts today at STAMPlorations!! Woohoo!

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card! Just remember you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. You have until the end of the month to play!

So this month I played with STAMPlorations Artsy Border Maker and Bold Setiments- Explore stamps along with ARTplorations Some Birds stencil. :o)
I started with #8 Manilla tag which I covered with TH Tissue Paper and then blended Vintage Photo and Stained Walnut Distress Crayons with my finger. I stamped the edges of the tag with stamps from the "Artsy Border Maker" set with Black Soot Distress Ink

I then used the "Some Birds" Stencil on the small birds with Ranger Texture Paste on the top and bottom of the tag. I painted the small birds with Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist in Long John Silver as I thought the white didn't blend well with the rest of the tag. I mixed Sunset Gold Pearl Ex with Texture Paste for the large bird and I LOVED the color!! Wish the camera could pick up the shimmer! I finished with stamps from the "Bold Sentiments- Explore" stamped in Walnut Stain Distress Ink and colored in with Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I matted both the tag and sentiments with Kraft Cardstock and finished with some seam binding dyed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist in Long John Silver.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today and play along with us this month!
