Faery Ink New Release~ Peace Fairy

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I made for the New Release over at

I got to work with PEACE FAIRY and what a cutie!
I used CS from American Crafts and DP from Recollections. Memory Box Flower and Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterfly Dies were used. Finished with a Sentiment Sticker from Michael's and Button and Twine from my stash.

I colored the image with SN Markers and Prismacolor Pencils- added some Wink of Stella on the Wings:
Added some clouds in the background with Pebbles Inc. Pastel Chalk.

Here's the inside of the card which I haven't put a sentiment in, as I'm not sure what I'm using it for as it's so versatile, could be "Miss You", "Thinking of You" or even "Happy Birthday". :o)

I hope you've been inspired to create!

Don't Forget there is still time to participate in our FB CHALLENGE- SCENERY!

Mother's Day in Portuguese!

Hello my crafty Friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at

Our theme this month is:
IT'S SPRING- Use 5 flowers on your project!

Our lovely sponsors this month are:
http://www.bugaboostamps.com/

http://craftybrensembroideredtoppers.weebly.com/
 Prize - £10 Goody Bag
(UK only due to postage)

I had a card request for a Mother's Day card with a Portuguese sentiment and she enjoys gardening...so here's my take on it.

I used the Arched Window Die from La-La Land Crafts and layered that onto an Embossed CS using "Bricks in the Wall" by Couture Creations to make it like her own cottage window with flowers. I went over with White Staz On Ink to get definition in the bricks. The Flower Dies are from MFT and La-La Land Crafts. I cut out the window and used acetate for the "Glass". CS is Recollections.

Here's a Closer look at the flowers:

Here's the Inside flap "Window":

and the other side:
I made the sentiment using Pic Monkey and made a border with "Fantasy Phlox" stamps by Rubber Stamp Tapestry in a variety of memento Dew Drop Inks.

I hope I've inspired you to play along this month and I look forward to your beautiful Creations.

Happy Craftin'!

Supergirl!

Morning crafty Friends!

I'm here to share a little card I made for my mother for Mother's day.
Now that's it passed, I can post it! LOL!

Now my mother's my best friend and we share the same quirky sense of humor so of course I had to THANK HER FOR MAKING ME SO AWESOME!! As in SUPERGIRL!! Yup, I am my mother's daughter. LOL!

I used Distress Inks to create the "Sunset" Background using - Broken Chine, Dusty Concord, Victorian Velvet and Spiced Marmalade.  I then used Moondust Gellyroll pen to dot some faint stars. CS is from Recollections and the Sentiment is from Hero Arts- OWH- Year Round Sentiments. "Mom" is also from Hero Arts, but I got it at a swap, so don't know the name of the set.

Here's a closer look at the image

The Inside has "And thank you for making me so awesome Mom!" and then some mushy stuff!

BUT alas, I wrote her message inside BEFORE managing to take a picture. DOH!

But I hope you've enjoyed my make today!

Happy Craftin'!

Amy's Fairytale Inspiration- Rose Red & Snow White Digital Stamp

Good morning crafty friends!

It's my turn to host over at
http://faeryink.com/blog/

And today I have a card using Snow White & Rose Red from this month's new Releases! It's such a beautiful image and when I looked up the story, it's quite whimsical too!

I went with one of my favorite color combos: RED, BLACK & WHITE.
CS is American Crafts and DP is from DCWV. I used my Petite dots embossing folder from Emossalicious - Crafter's Companion and finished with Twine, Bling and Roses from my stash.

When I researched the story, I saw that Snow White had Hair so fair and Rose Red had darker tresses.
I colored this sweet image with SN Markers and Prismacolor Pencils.
For the bear, I went over with my blender pen in a dotted fashion to get a fur like pattern...still need to work on that technique. LOL.

Here's the inside with the same design as the front and what I thought was a perfect sentiment from Stampin' Up!

Be sure to stayed tuned for the other amazing makes from the DT Gals with this month's New Releases as they are FAB-U-LOUS!
