Love Never Melts

I went Horizontally~ 
Shaped card
 stamps & sentiments
flowers, pearls and twine.

I used the adorable #525 Three Penguins.


CS is from American Crafts and DP is "Special Delivery" from Echo Park Designs.
"Ribbon Loop" Martha Stewart Round-the-Page punch was used for the top shape on the easel card.

Sentiments are from Close to my heart "Flakey Friends" and "Frosted".

I colored the image with SN markers and used white Enamel Accents on fur trim. Pink liquid pearls was used on the scarf.

Poinsettia's from Michaels, Snowflakes from Recollections, Silver Pearls are from Close to My Heart and the button and twine are from my stash.

GDT- Freshly Brewed Challenges Week 4

Happy Wednesday my crafty friends! This is my last submission as a GDT for Freshly Brewed Challenges for the month of November!

It's been a pleasure being a guest designer this month for Heather and Freshed Brewed Challenges. I've had a fabulous time and made some amazing friends. So thank you for what has been an amazing experience!~Big Hugs~

Ok back to business...

The theme this month is: LET IT SNOW or CHRISTMAS

You can play with any image and it's a month long challenge, so you still  have a few days left to play along!

So this week I thought what could I give my Coffee/Tea lovin' friend to make her smile since I can't see or shop with her? Well besides the obvious..a Hot Cuppa ..it's just hard to mail liquids...Canada Post frowns upon it. hehehe

So here's what I came up with~ A Latte card with a Matching Mini Purse with tea inside~Mmmmmmm!
 I used
WARM AND COZY LATTE DIGITAL STAMP

I LOVE YOU A LATTE DIGITAL SENTIMENT




I colored the image with SN Markers and some pink buttons. I used pop dots for dimension on the image. Used my scalloped Dies from Spellbinders with some grey pearls.
CS is from American Crafts and the paper is from Upsy Daisy Designs. Velvet Ribbon and buttons from my stash.

A Vintage Thank You!

Happy Monday!

The Sugar Kissed Cottage is where you will find vintage and art deco inspired digital stamps to fuel your crafty side! 


 So I went with a vintage feel for my card. 

I used soft backing paper from DCWV and inked a doily with Tea Stained Distress ink and cut in half and layered it. The velvet flower is from Recollections and the 2 pink/white ones are Prima Flowers.

I colored the image with SN Markers and Inked it with Distress Ink in "Victorian Velvet". 



I finished it off with satin Ribbon, pearls and Sentiment  from Close to my heart which was stamped with Victorian Velvet and brown.

A Ducky Christmas!!

Hello my lovelies!

It's time for  Deedee's Digi's- Digi of the Month Challenge!

She's done it again with the Super Cute November Digi of the Month 




How can you resist playing with such a fun, adorable image?


I colored the image with SN Markers and Silver Gellyroll marker. I used Diamond Stickles for the snow.

I had the pleasure of working with Things Missed Vintage Set 2. These images are so sweet and adorable!

Ok, I don't ever do Vintage cards, so when this theme came around I started sweating immediately. hehehe So a good friend of mine, Susan, gave me some pointers on making cards look vintage. I hope you like my first attempt. 

I colored the image in SN markers, but I wanted to make it soft and look like it was vintage, and I love how it turned out!


For this card I used my Distressing tool on the edges...it was a first for that too. Think it could have used more! lol. I also Inked all the edges with Tea Stain Distress Ink.

I used Winter 10 for my card this challenge. And can I say how sweet this image is???


I colored the image with SN markers. Used "Diamond" Stickles and White Liquid Pearls for snow.

GDT for THE CRAFT CHALLENGE

Happy Thursday Everyone! I'm very excited... Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps is sponsoring the  C.R.A.F.T. Challenge and I am a GDT this challenge from the Robyn's Fetish Design Team!! 

I just want to Thank the

For my card this challenge, I used Carl The Snowman  and Snowman Word Art from Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps.



I used DP's from DCVW's Seasonal Collection. I embossed white CS from American Crafts with a Snowflake EF from Cuttlebug. I used green and white Gellyroll pens for the faux stitching.

I colored the images with SN Markers and Atyou Spica Pens. I used glossy accents on the "Heart" Word of the sentiment and Diamond Dust for the snow on Carl.  Green pearls finished off Carl's scarf and snowflakes from my stash with red bling were used to finish off the card.

Oh how I love me some Penguins!

Hi my blogger friends! Happy Wednesday!

 Yay half way thru the week and then the weekend is here!! WOOOHOOO!

I'm here to show you my card for this month's SKdigi's FANtastic Linking Party!!

This month it's "Chilly the Penguin"

Ok, I love me some Penguins and these were just so cute, I used both!


I colored the image with SN Markers and White Gellyroll for highlights. 

 
I used an ornament pin from Recollections on the "Girly Penguin" and a glitter gem from Close to my Heart on the "Boy" touque {Yep, we say touque in Canada...;o)}

The CS and Ribbon are from American Crafts and the DP is from Recollections. I just loved the vibrant non-traditional Christmas colors. The Snowflake is a prize from a Sentimental Sunday Blog hop.

Salty Wishes to You!

Hi fellow bloggers, I hope your week is starting off well. 
We had hail today...so that was...well it was fun to watch but not actually walk in. Was out walking my dog, Bubbaganoush, when it hit...didn't think he could move that fast!hehehe

This month, we got to use the adorable Birthday Seahorse! It came with the cutest sentiments too!

I colored the image with SN markers and what fun I had! I used glossy accents on the balloons, air bubbles and pupil.
