NO COLOURED IMAGES!
Our Sponsor this week is The Sugar Kissed Cottage.
Prize: 4 Digital Stamps of Winner's Choice.
I had the pleasure of working with the Tea Party Digital Stamp.
Here's my take on "No Coloured Images"...
I used GIMP to change the outline from black to pink. I went with pink and grey to keep with the Vintage feel of the image.
Recipe:
- Papers: CS- American Crafts, DP- My Mind's Eye "Wildflower"
- Grey Ribbon
- Pearls from Stash
- Piercer and stencil from Stampin' Up!
- Liquid Pearls "Platinum Pearl"
- Dies/Punches: Ironworks Accents from Spellbinders & Marvy Circle Punch
- Sentiment from Scrap-A-Licious Times
Be sure to check out the great creations from my teamies this week for more inspiration!

Hi Amy,
I love the pink colour of your image. Great idea to do that.

I think you did a wonderful job with the challenge parameters. Your project does embrace the vintage look and your choice of background papers definitely support that style and serve to elevate your design! Nicely composed and executed. Thanks for slipping this under our door here at 613 Avenue Create!

Wow, this is really pretty. I absolutely love that image and I bet it would be just as pretty colored too. Thank you so much for joining us this week at 613 Avenue Create!
Amy, your card has just sent me on a nostalgic journey down memory lane as I remember enjoying my books that were illustrated in the style of your image in the 1950'60's. The only problem is that I too would use the word Vintage to describe the feel of this card but now I'm struggling to accept that I too may be classified as Vintage :-) Anyway, your card is very pretty. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team
Thanks Ingrid, glad I could evoke that kind of feeling with this card! ;o)
Thanks Susan. :)
Fabulous card, what a great image - love the vintage feel. TFS
I really like that you used the pink and grey - and the added details of the grey pearls is a really nice detail! Thinking outside the box... well done Amy!

Hi Amy I love how you have left the image plain. It is really effective and the embellishments co-ordinate beautifully. I didn't know you could change the color of the outline.
Thank you so much for joining us at OSAAT this week, I do hope we see you again soon.
Hugs to you Sue Pxxx DT members
Lovely card, thanks for joining in the my craft creations challenge, good luck x
Really like the style of the card, recolouring the outline has made the image even more striking! Thank you for sharing at OSAAT and good luck in the challenge.
