Fairy Wishes!

Happy Saturday Everyone! Today, I have a "Fairy" special birthday card!

This was inspired from {Pin}spirational Challenge #65  {pin}spiring picture

I just love the Purples, greens, and the whimsical feel of it.

I started with a Large Circle Cutout in Bazzil's Purple Cardstock and folded the back circle at an inch from the top to create the crease to my card. I cut out two smaller circles in different cardstocks/papers for the base card.

I used Patches the Fairy Digi from Saturated Canary and colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers. I made a double set of the wings and colored them and used Stickles in Diamond to give them some sparkle.

The Birthday sentiment is from Stampin' Up! The larger butterflies were made with an EK punch; the smaller ones from Fiskars Mini Butterfly punch. The flowers, ribbon, bling, pearls and buttons were from my stash. The crochet Dragon fly is a new purchase from my local craft store- was just waiting for the right card to use it! :)

A Bubbly Birthday!

Hello fellow crafters, today, I have a Birthday card that is just..well...Bubbly! For the Sketch and Stash Challenge I used the Birthday Bubbles Stamp from Great Impressions.

This is my take on sketch 13.

I stamped the image onto crafter companion ultra smooth cardstock for alcohol markers and colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers. Pig: CR1, CR5, EB1, FS3 Bubbles: LB2 Water:TB1 Soap Suds:GG1 Bucket:EB7, EB8, BG3

I used Bazzil Cardstock in Teal and Salmon. For the corners, I embossed a 2x2 square of teal cardstock with the circles Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and cut it in half corner-wise. I then used a peach ink to highlight the embossed circles. I used Diamond Dust for the soap suds and Glossy Accents on the bubbles and was really pleased with how it turned out.

I used enamel dots from My Minds Eye, which is a new product for me.  A bling strip was used for the middle layer piece as I thought they looked like bubbles! Twine, Clear Button and Happy Birthday Sentiment from Stampin' Up! finished off my card.

For the inside of the card, I layered salmon cardstock with  the embossed teal corners. Then stamped the coordinating Bubbles Sentiment with Glossy Accents on the bubbles.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges:

Sketch and Stash Challenge #117 and DT Call- the enamel dots are new to my stash and the Diamond dust is an item that is neglected.

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Craftin'!
