I Sew Love You!

It's Monday!! So that means it's another Craft Your Passion Challenge! Yay! This week it's
"Don't get your TWINE in a tangle".
We want to see twine/string on your creations!

Our lovely sponsor this week is:

Here's my easel card:

I used the digi from the Patched Hearts Set  from Tiffany Doodles.
I colored the digi with Spectrum Noir Markers and used Silver Smooch on the Pins and Needle. The base cardstock is from American Crafts- Tropical Set and the DP is
So sweet paper by Echo Park Paper. The Twine is from We R Memory Keepers-in Black, Yellow, Orange,Pink.

Here's my twine, twine...and more twine.

I circle punched 3 circles from cardstock that I covered in Scor-tape. I started in the middle with my twine and wound it around the circle. I also used twine on the bottom corner.
I also wound twine around the layer under the Digi and around the sentiment (also from the Tiffany Doodles
Patched Hearts Set ).

I cut out the needle and threaded it with the twine and used pop dots to adhere it to the card.

There that's my twine and I'm sticking to it. ;o)

Write Your Own Story...

Happy Sunday fellow bloggers...it's a hot one here in B.C. Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

Today, I have an uplifting card. Be the star of your own story...write your own story.

I chose the colors based on Dynamic Duo's Color Palette.

I used cardstock in warm pink and greens from American Crafts and DP from Hopscotch.

The theme of the card was based on The Lollipop Ladies Inspiring Pic:

I used the Stars EF from Cuttlebug and punched out stars with a star Marvy Punch. I used Stickles- Diamond in the centre of the embossed stars.

The Sentiment is from Gina K. Stamps- Great Sayings set.

I die cut the sentiment with Spellbinders Square Swatches.

Finished it off with pink ribbon and bling from my stash.

Beautiful You!

Happy Saturday Everyone!
For the Unstampabelles Challenge #26, the challenge was to have a dress but without using any stamps. So I pondered this for 3 days and here's what I came up with...Drum Roll Please!! ;o)

Ta Da!!!

I found  an Iris Folding Template at Circle Of Crafters. Now this was my first attempt at iris folding- It's a lot easier to do it with Paper and not cardstock....ask me how I know ;o).

I got to learn a new technique and got to use up scrap papers I had. I'm happy with how it turned out.

I finished off the card with a sticker sentiment from the craft store and  flowers & Bling Swirls from Michaels.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenge:

Happy Craftin'!
