So Suzy Stamps~ Moon Fairy

Good Morning my crafty friends, I'm here for my very last post for So Suzy Stamps.

Today I have a card I made using Moon Fairy and Twinkling H20's

I started with a piece of Watercolored paper at 3' 3/4 x 5'. I misted it with water and then applied Mystic Blue Twinkling H20 with a wet brush. I then went over top with Wild Plum Twinkling H20. Be sure to Dry in between each layer so your colors don't get muddy.

I then stamped  Moon Fairy  and Birthday Wishes with Jet Black Archival Ink. I layered these onto aqua and Purple Cardstock and finished with some gems from my stash.

For the inside:

I stamped Warm Sunshine with Aquamarine  and Deep Purple Archival Inks. Finished with some TH Star Stamps.

Faery Ink~ Gorgeous Guitarist!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a sweet lil' Mixed Media Tag I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using the new release "Gorgeous Guitarist".This is such a fab image for any musician! :o)
I started by painting the tag with pink and purple acrylic paints. Once it was dry, I stamped Musical Notes from Michael's. I used a Dylusions Stencil with Molding Paste- I love this stuff as it allows the color underneath to come thru! :o) Added some Musical Notes Die Cuts and used my Neocolor II watercolor crayon to trace around them and add some depth. To finish up, I used Echo Park Carta Bella Ticket Die set and stamped my own sentiment in Sepia ink-I used some cheese cloth underneath the ticket for added texture. Some Purple Enamel dots and Voila! Pretty lil' Tag. :o)
I colored this lil' Guitarist with SN Markers

Be sure to check out this month's amazing New Releases and my Teamies beautiful makes with them all!

Time for a new challenge and it is an Anything Goes Challenge with a twist!  Please check the rules here.

and the twist is:

ALTERED ART

Add a digi to any object (bottle, clock and more)

This challenge I used the beautiful Birds & Hair.

Now I started with a box I had from a Starbucks Mug Set I got

 Here is the inside:

Now, here's my altered box:

I started by priming the inside and outside with Gesso. I then inked the edges of some Recollections DP with Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo distress stains. I also used old dictionary paper for the inside of the box.
I colored the photo with SN Markers

I used my Spellbinders Ovals to cut out the image and glued it to the top of the box with Liquitex Matte Medium.

I then glued Flowers, Mesh Ribbon, Vintage Buttons and Pearls from my stash onto the box. I then primed them with a coat of Gesso (mixed with Water). Once it was dry, I sprayed with Distress Gold Stain,
Smooch Stains   and Lindy's Stamp Gang- Steampunk Sepia
 Love the dimension it gave:

I added some metal embellishments to the front of the box and finished off with red gems

Happy Thursday Crafty Friends!

Today, I'm here to share for
http://juliaspirichallengeblog.blogspot.ca/
Julia is sponsoring a challenge over at
http://giveacrafteracookie.blogspot.ca/

To play along...

~Use the picture as inspiration! (the theme, the color combos, the patterns...)
~You can create ANYTHING your heart desires, as long as it's clear how you were inspired by the cookies!

Today, I did up a panel using Sea and Hair.

I started by painting an ocean/beach scene using acrylic paints onto mixed media paper. I then laid out my die cuts: The Sun and Lighthouse are from a monthly La La Land Craft Kit , Small Seashells  from Impression Obsession , Delicate Chain from Memory Box,  & Anchor from Echo Park. I finished with a Stamped sentiment using Letter Blocks from Studio G and using my Faber Castell Black Pitt Pens. I matted it onto black CS from Recollections.

I colored the image with SN Markers and White Signo Gelly Pen.  I fussy cut her out and adhered her with 3D Pop dots for dimension.

I sure hope you join the challenge over at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie Challenge #32.

Happy Craftin'!

Inspiration Destination~ Odella Heart Tag

Happy Wednesday friends!

I'm here to share my make for
http://inspirationdestinationchallengeblog.blogspot.ca/

It's always an Anything Goes Challenge!

Our amazing Sponsors this challenge is:

http://thestampingboutique.com/

I got to work with the lovely Oddella Heart . Just loved this image!

Here's my tag:
.
I painted the tag with Teal and Purple acrylic paints after priming with Gesso. I then randomly stamped some hearts using a stamp from my stash using Stazon Midi Gothic Purple ink
and stamped Pearl Strand from So Suzy Stamps in Stazon Midi Emeral City ink.

I also glued down some circle punches along the edge for added dimension with out adding too much weight. I then made circles using a bottle cap and Black Acrylic paint mixed with water. I highlighted a few of these circles with White, Pink and Blue Gelatos.

I finished it all by spalttering some white acrylic paint and Edging the circles with my white Signo Gel Pen.
Some black and purple twine from my stash finished it off.

I colored the image with SN Markers and fussy cut her out; and used Modge Podge to adhere her to the tag. I kept her in an icy aqua color to lend to the Zombie feel of the image. ;o)
Finished by adding some Lumiere 3D Adhesive & Dimensional Metallic Paint in Lavender

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you check out my teamies beautiful makes and leave them some love!

Happy Craftin'!
