Easel Post-It Holder

Good Morning! It's my turn to host DT DAY over at

http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.ca/

We have a challenge #226 going on right now using "SCHOOL SUPPLIES"

So I thought I'd make a Post-It Note Easel Card.
I found this great inspiration over at StampARTic.

I used the fabulous NEW Melissa Pencil Mouse. I thought it went well with the note holder. :o)

I have a 1/4 inch fold, so it lays flat when needed.

I colored the image with SN Markers and White Gellyroll marker

I cut and layered and extra pencil with pop-dots for 3D dimension

I used "Note Ticket" and "Lined Paper" from Unity Stamps "Sweet and Sour Soup" Collection. I used Turquoise and Navy ink from Stampin' Up! and fussy cut the sentiment and image.

Here's a closer look at the post-it holder:

I sure hope I've inspired you to join in our
"School Supplies" Challenge

Recipe:
CS: American Crafts
DP: Recollections
Stamps:  Melissa Pencil Mouse from Meljen's Designs,"Sweet and Sour Soup" Collection from Unity Stamps
Embellies: Enamel Dots
Ink: Turquoise and Navy from Stampin' Up!
Medium: SN Markers

Don't forget Melissa has a 50% off sale all September to celebrate the new shop launch
