STAMP OUT CANCER~ Special Friend

Good morning crafty friends! I'm happy to be participating in the

We all know someone hit by Cancer, so Scrap N' Stamp is doing a blog hop to raise awareness and funds for the PUSH FOR YOUR TUSH .
Please check out the link to read Nancy's Story

Scrap N' Stamp will be donating 10% of today's sales towards this great cause! So be sure to hop along and donate if you can. :o)

Instead of "Get Well Soon" cards, the team made cards that would be more uplifting for friends/family battling cancer.

Here's my card using the Foilpress from Crafter's Companion along with their gorgeous Foil Stamps and Foil.

I started with the Ornate Swirls Background Foilpress Stamp with the Berry Foil. If you haven't used the Foilpress machine yet, you NEED's so easy and makes elegant cards in a snap! I then used the Special Friend Foilpress Stamp with the Berry Foil and matted it onto the CC Luxury Red Matt Mirror Card. A bow and Red Pearls from my stash finished off the front of the card.

I still wanted to tie the front of my card with the inside so I used the Thinking Of You Foilpress Stamp again with the Berry Foil and matted it onto the Luxury Red Matt Mirror Card.

And there you have a pretty card in just a few simple steps using the CC Foilpress and Gemini- the Foilpress can also be used with the Gemini Jr. :o)

Now you are off to Laurie's Blog to see her beautiful Make! And if you get lost along the way, here's the Hop Order:

Crafter's Companion~ Sweet Birthday Wishes

Happy Thursday Crafty Friends! Today, I'm back with another new SHAKER die set

I used the delicious "Sweet Birthday" Shaker Stamp and Die set for today's fun card.
These Shaker Die sets make making a shaker card a SNAP. I simply die cut 4-5 layer for my shaker elember and two layers for the wrapper element. I layered the Cupcake using the Stiched Rectangle Die and adhered the 2 card bases (top and bottom) with the Rectangle Die.

I finished with a sentiment from the set and enamel dots from my stash.

And here's the inside of my card:

Crafter's Companion~ Cheers

Good morning crafty Friends! Today I have fun little make using the "Let's Make Cocktails" Stamp and Shaker Die set from Crafter's Companion.

How Yummy does that look? To start, I die cut orange, lemon and lime slices using the Die in the set to create my background.

I created the shaker element by layering 4 die cuts cut from White cardstock, then added the acetate and finished with the Top layer cut from Silver Glitter paper.  A Sentiment from the set finished off my card.

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I have a fun and easy way to use up your scrap cardstock pieces to create a fun background along with CUPPA LOVE die set from Spellbinders.

Here's the fun and BRIGHT card I made using up a few pieces of scrap along with some adhesive.

I started by cutting 1/4'"strips out of my collection of scrap cardstock pieces. I then applied Be Creative Adhesive sheet to the back of a piece of copy paper cut to 4.25"x 5.5". I  then peeled of the release paper and started lining up my strips...really quick and easy! ;o) I started with the colors of the rainbow but lost a bit  of the ROY G BIV order when I cut it down for my panel. BUT I still think it's fun and pretty! lol

I applied Candied Apple Distress Oxide to Bristol Smooth paper,  straight from the pad, no blending tool and used that to die cut the cup from CUPPA LOVE. I  then used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide applied to Bristol Smooth to die cut the Coffee portion from the die set  as well. I adhered it all together and added some leaves and a little heart from the same set to complete my mug. Some little white gel pen highlights and some Nuvo Crystal Glaze applied to the coffee and heart finished it off...doesn't it look good enough to drink???

A sentiment from Art Impressions Latte Love Set stamped with Black Onyx Versafine Ink die cut with MFT-  Fishtails completed my sentiment. I adhered the panel to black cardstock and applied it to my base card with fun foam. A natural hemp ribbon finished off my card.

So  there we have it, a fun and realtively easy way to use up some scraps to get a BRIGHT background for your cards.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

I then used the  MFT- Wonky Stitched Rectangle die to cut the panel. To create my hill, I used Lawn Fawn Stiched Hillside Borders cut from MME "Record It" paper pad and inked it up with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. A Mushroom die cut from Quick Kutz blended the edges with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxides finished off my little scene.

I stamped 2 of the bird images from the MFT- Tweet Friends stamp set  in Versafine Black Onyx Ink onto Bristol Smooth paper and colored up the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some white Gel Pen for highlights and fussy cut them out. I stamped the song notes and sentiment from the set using Black Onyx Versafine ink and die cut the sentiment using the MFT- Slanted Sentiment Strip Die. Voila! One TWEET
