LBBS~ Little Fairy

Hello, crafty friends, today I have a cute lil' Spring inspired card using Little Blue Button Stamps~ Little Fairy Digital Stamp
How precious is she? Love her

So here's my card:
I kept the background pretty simple but vibrant as I cannot wait for spring so went with orange and pink watercolors using Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers! Did a little background stamping and splattered some black acrylic paint to tie into the card base. I finished with a sentiment from Altenew's "Faithful Feather" Stamp set.

I colored this cutie with SN Markers and added some SN Sparkle Clear Pen on her wings and some Ranger Glossy Accents on the bubbles.
There we have it, a fun and vibrant Spring Card. :o)

I sure hope I've inspired you today.
Happy craftin'!

~hugs~

I started with a black and white heavy CS tags. I then applied Versamark over the Hidden Hearts & Just Flow stencils. I then applied Pearl Ex Pigment Powders over it with a brush. You can see how the colors look different on black or white backgrounds. :o) I then sprayed them with a sealer.

I then embossed sentiments from the Strong Women Stamp set onto smaller tags and used eyelets for a little embellishment.

Some twine finished off my tags. Simple, easy and fun! :o)

Here's my makes using ARTplorations Two Feathers Stencil, STAMPlorations Smile
& Trendy Feathers 2 stamp sets and CUTplorations Smile Word Die

I went with fun Spring Colors and of course Feathers are "Things with Wings". I started with some old Library cards that I applied Gelatos in random color blocks. I laid the Two FeathersStencil on and applied white acrylic paint around the stencil so only the Gelato's beneath the feather peeked through.

I then stamped feathers from the Trendy Feathers 2 set onto acetate with StazOn Ink in Olive Green and Blazing Red and fussy cut it out once dried. I adhered it to the stenciled feather with a thin line of clear glue.

I then stamped sentiments from the Smile Stamp Set and added the Smile diecut. I finished with a fun doodled border using Sharpie Markers and adhered it to a CS base.

I loved how these turned out and they were so fun to make. I sure hope I've inspired you to Link Up and to continue Hoppin' along!

Here's my make using Trendy Butterflies 2

I started with a piece of watercolor paper and added a layer of water to the paper for my base, then I added Magenta, Blue and a bit of Yellow, Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors to the wet paper. I then stamped small butterflies from the set onto Vellum in Gray StazOn ink and fussy cut out.

I stamped the larger butterflie onto watercolor paper I painted with the yellow watercolor and fussy cut out. I added a sentiment and key to the large butterfly and some washi tape finished it off.

And here's the inside of my card using sentiments from the SMILE STAMPlorations set:

STAMPlorations~ April Mixed Media Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone, it's that time again for a new challenge over at
http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2017/03/stencil-sunday-march-5.html

The theme is always anything mixed media goes, except a card! Just remember you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. You have until the end of the month to play!

This month, I made an art card from an old Library Card using ARTplorations Honeycomb Delight Mini Stencil and STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2
I started by covering my card with old book paper then applying texture paste thru the Honeycomb Delight Mini Stencil. Once dry, I applied a light Gesso wash. I added some Dylusions Postbox Red Spray at the top and let it run down. Once dry, I splattered with black paint mixed with a bit of water.
I stamped the Largest butterfly from the Trendy Butterflies 2 set onto acetate with black StazOn Ink and fussy cut it. I then stamped the image again onto old paper and cut it out but applied it to the card face down, as I only wanted the silhouette of the stamp so the text from the paper shows thru the acetate. I traced around the butterfly with a black watercolor pencil and waterbrush to add some shading. I stamped a sentiment in the top left corner and finished with some washi tapes and adhered it to black cardstock.
There, we have it, another fun make using the fabulous stamps and stencils from STAMPlorations. :o) I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty and join in our challenge.

LBBS~ April New Release~Fishing Sophie

Good morning crafty friends, today I'm super excited to share with you my first make for
http://lbbstamps.com/

Here's my make using Fishing Sophie which is one of two adorable new releases this month.

I did a journal page using Fishing Sophie:

I started by creating my nature scene using Distress Paints and applying it to my page with a brayer. I applied white acrylic paint thru a stencil for my "clouds" and stamped some circles in my water for added texture. I created my border with Acrylic Paints and stamped my sentiment using Staz On inks.

I colored the image with SN Markers and fussy cut her out and applied her to the corner as if she's fishing in this vast lake and is just enjoying the gifts of Nature ;o)

I hope I've inspired you to get crafty today.
