SCRAP N' STAMP~ Cause a Scene

Good morning, it's time for my DT inspiration for

Today, I have a lil' tag using a few Tim Holtz, Ranger and Prima Products.

I started with a tag die cut from the largest Tim Holtz Sizzix Tags set and used Cracked Pistachio and Abandoned Coral Distress Paints. Once dry, I stamped numbers from the Tim Holtz "Life's Possibilities" set with Garden Patina Archival Ink.  I die cut the Damask from the Tim Holtz Mixed Media Halloween Die Set from White Cardstock and adhered to my tag using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive

I adhered some Finnabair Mini and Small Art Stones with Finnabair Soft Matte Gel. Once dry, I colored with Distress Stains in Cracked Pistachio and Abandoned Coral with a waterbrush. I added a Tim Holtz Paper Doll and Snarky Small Talk Stickers with some Dylusions Post-Box Red Paint Pen around them. Some white splatters, using Dylusions White Linen Spray, finished off my Tag. :o)

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty and play with some different mediums.

Cute EH? hehehehe

Up first is a card I made using the Stamp, die, Ephemera Pack with the Canadian Critters & Strong & Free papers.

I started with a piece of woodgrain DP from my stash and added circles I punched out from the Canadian Critters  paper using different sized circle punches.

I added some ephermera from the Ephemera Pack and created my little "Eh" banner. I added a Maple leaf I die cut using the Maple Leaf die and finished with some red twine.

I stamped the uber cute Beaver from the Stamp set onto Strathmore watercolor paper with Scattered Straw Distress Ink using my TH Platform. I then used Frayed BurlapVintage Photo & Walnut Stain Distress Inks to watercolor the image with a Waterbrush. I then die cut him out using the corresponding  die. I used the stamp again and stamped onto the  Strong & Free paper and fussy cut the vest out and adhered to my colored image. I finished him with some White Nuvo Drops.

And there we have the first card- ready for Canada Day! :)

Up next is the CAS Tag I made using the Maple Syrup & Strong & Free papers with  some of the Ephemera pieces.

I die cut a tag using STAMPlorations Stitched Tag die from  the Maple Syrup paper and then added a piece of the Strong & Free paper but using the red/white maple leafs side this time. The little patriotic Moose and Happy Canada Day Banner finished off my tag with a little button and twine from my stash.

SCRAP 'N STAMP~ Gelli Print Journal

Good Morning Crafty friends!! I'm uber excited to share with you that I'm now a DT Gal for

Woohoo!! They carry such an array of Crafty Goodness!! Be sure to check them out as there's something for everyone! ;o)

I was playing with my Gelli Plate, Stencils and Dylusions paints and had quite a few prints....so I decided to create a lil' 4.5'x5.5' Art Journal. I simply cut the sheets to my desired size and folded them in half using my Scor-board.

I then adhered the back sides of each page using Be Creative Tape. Once I had the book, I used Matte Medium and Duct Tape for the binding along with some fun Jane Davenport Washi Tape. I then used Cut out covers from another sheet of Gelli Prints and adhered to the Journal using my 3M Tape gun and Matte Medium.

I then watercolored the Penny Black "Portrait" Image using Distress Inks and waterbrush. SNS has a few Gorgeous Girls you can substitute for the Portrait Stamp, like Angelette, Grace and Isabelle.  I then decorated my Cover using  Prima Butterflies, TH Script Stamp in Archival Inks- Carnation Red, Tea Rose, Shadow Grey and Jet Black. I then added some doodles using White and Post Box Red Dylusions Paint Pens. I adhered the Prima Butterflies using My Zig Glue Pen.

Here are some samples of my inside pages that are just waiting for my imagination to fill them up!

I found having the backgrounds already done, helps when I want to create but don't have a lot of time or am just wanting to try a new image or technique. :o)

Again, I'm so excited to be on this Design team with these Amazing girls!

Be sure to join us on June 22nd for a Blog Hop using Photoplay's Oh Canada!

For this month's make, I used the fun new THEORIES Set by Tim Holtz along with my Bombay India Inks.

I started by adding water to my Watercolor panel and then dropping in Magenta and Yellow Bombay Inks. These are great for layering one at a time, as once dry they are permanent and layer beautifully! Plus, I love the vibrancy of the colors.

I then stamped the image in Black  Onyx Versafine Ink using my TH Platform. I then added the sentiment using the Black Onyx Versafine Ink and then used second generation stamping with Archival Sunflower and Memento Rose Bud inks. Some black splatters and Black Nuvo Drops finished off the card. :o)
