CRAFTSTAMPER~ Love you to the Moon and Back!

Woohooo! It's time for another challenge over at

This month, "anything goes" as long as you have used stamping somewhere on your project. Easy peasy right? Our generous sponsor this month is

One lucky challenge participant will win these two Stamp sets!! *swoon* How adorable are they???

For  all the challenge details and for linking your entry please visit the Craft Stamper blog *here*

This month I used To the Moon Stamp/Die set from Altenew

I knew I wanted to create a Galaxy effect background, so I got out my Dr. Ph. Martin's India Inks and my Jane Davenport's Bright's Palette set.

I started out the same for each card, but taping some watercolor cold-press paper to a mason board and wetting it completey. I then added Pink's, purple's, blue's and black to the paper. I stamped the layered moons onto Mixed Media Paper with different Grey tone inks and die cut with the matching die.

For the Dr. Ph. Martin's India Inks, they blend and layer well, but once dry, they are dry. lol. I loved the vibrancy of them though. Once dry, I added the white and gold splatter with a tooth brush and added some "comets" with a Signo White Gel Pen. I used Distress Inks, in Weathered Wood, Hickory Smoke.

For the card using Jane Davenport's Bright's palette, I did the same thing, wet the card and dab the paint to create the texture/movement I wanted. I didn't go with a start black but rather the "Ink" Blue. I also, only used the 2 layers of the Moon Stamp for this card. I embossed the "Moon" word die cut in Reflections Silver embossing powder twice, to give it more depth.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get Crafty today and can't wait to see your makes in this month's Challenge! Be sure to check out the DT's makes for more inspiration here

I started with a tag cut from Plaid Designer paper from MME and embossed the Gorgeous sentiment in white. I cut out the balloons in colors to match the plaid background and embossed the "Simply" sentiment in white. The red balloon is adhered with 3D foam tape for added dimension. Some twine and a paper-pierced edge for a faux stitched look finished it off. :o)

I embossed the "Birthday" sentiment in white and watercolored the background using Jane Davenport's Watercolor Brights set. Once dry, I stamped the "Happy" sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink. I finished with the adorable  little shaker present using the CUTPlorations Gift Builder #2 die set.
Layered onto yellow and blue cardstock and finished with some black Nuvo Enamel Drops.

STAMPlorations~ Stencil Sunday #97

Happy Sunday everyone! I'm sharing a tag I made for STAMPlorations Sunday Stencil #97. The designers have created some fabulous mixed media projects to inspire you. You can find them  here so be sure to check them out and leave them some luv! :o)

Today I used ARTplorations Overlap and Super Bubbles Stencils along with a sentiment from Trendy Birds 2 STAMPlorations Stamp Set.
A pretty quick and easy background using a watercolor paper tag and some Jane Davenport Watercolors- Brights. I then applied black acrylic paint thru the Overlap and Super Bubbles Stencils and used a White Paint Pen for some doodling. A little splatter using watered down white acrlic paint finished off the background. I applied a circle diecut on the top from my Design Paper stash and inked the edges in Black Soot Distress Paint.  I colored a Tim Holtz Grungeboard bird with the Black Soot Distress Paint and embossed the sentiment from the
Trendy Birds 2 stamp set and adhered it to the tag with Tacky Glue. And voila a fun and bright tag :o)

I hope you were inspired to play along in our Monthly Challenge, there is still some time to join in.

Don't forget you can use code "STAMPGIRLAMY" to  Save 20% in the STAMPlorations online shop. Have a great weekend. :o)
