Crafter's Companion~ Spring is in the Air!

Good morning, today I have a fun and cheerful card for you using the

So many cute and sweet elements in this collection it was hard to choose what to use! :)

I started with the beautiful papers from the 12x12 Paper pad and then adhered the Cottage Window die.

I paper pieced the Umbrella and used the coordinating die that comes in the set to die cut it out. I added the Primula flowers I created using the SN Harmony Water Reactive Inks in Chinese Red and Orange. Some stamens from my stash finished off  my Primula flowers which I tucked into the umbrella. :)

I then made some different flowers for my "flower box" using the Aster stamp and die set. I using Lemon Tonic and Honey Pot from the Summer Yellows collection.

A sentiment from the Spring Sentiments set and enamel dots finished off my card.

Thank you for joining me today!

LBBS~ Dream Charlie

Hello, crafty friends, today I have a cute lil' coffee inspired card using Little Blue Button Stamps

http://lbbstamps.com/product/dream-charlie-digital-stamp-for-cardmaking/

I LOVE coffee, and I knew I had to use Dream Charlie as my first inspirational post for Little Blue Button Stamps. I mean how cute is she???

Here's she is all in spring colors:

I created a few layers with DP as I wanted to keep the embellishments simple so Charlie was the focus. I used DP's from My Minds Eye. Even cut out the tickets from the same Design paper as I thought it went with the "Dream" concept. ;o)
I finished with a sentiment from My Favorite Things "Perk Up" set.

I colored Charlie with Spectrum Noir Markers keeping with Spring colors:

And I usually do the same "design" concept on the inside of my cards as the front:

I sure hope I've inspired you today.
Happy craftin'!

STAMPlorations~ Spring Coffee Lovers Hop!

Good Morning Coffee lovers, today marks the start of the

and STAMPlorations is one of the amazing Sponsors!

Be sure to join in using any tea, coffee or cocoa images with a SPRING theme. :o)

To start off, I used Framed Coffee for One and made a tag.

I first embossed the image with white embossing powder and was dry,  created my background by Smooshing onto Distress Paints (Abandoned Coral, Mustard Seed & Cracked Pistachio). Just dab the paint onto your non-stick craft sheet, spritz with water and slide/smoosh your tag in the paint and dry between layers so your colors don't get muddy. :o) I then added some paint splatter in Blue Lagoon & Seedless Preserves to tie in my water colored Image.

I stamped & embossed the image again and colored the cup only using Twinkling H20's and then fussy cut it out and adhered it with 3D foam tape for added dimension. I then stamped & embossed a flower from the Groovy Shoes Set and cut it out...I think it ties in with the SPRING colors and theme. :o) I then stamped a sentiment from the Coffee for All Seasons set. Some crinkle ribbon sprayed with Abandoned Coral Distress Spray Stain finished off my tag. :o)

I hope I've inspired you to get crafty and hop along this Spring Hop. Don't forget to check out the AMAZING inspirations from the STAMPlorations DT here and hop along for some Java-licious prizes! ;o)

Don't forget to join me on the 29th for another fun make for this hop using Rise and Grind.

STAMPlorations~ March Mixed Media Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone, it's that time again for a new challenge over at
http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2017/03/stencil-sunday-march-5.html

The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card! Just remember you must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. You have until the end of the month to play!

This month, I made a couple of Spring inspired ATC's using ARTplorations Bubble Dance & Weaving Stencils and STAMPlorations Strong Women and Big Bloom Factory Stamps.
I used some Distress Oxides to create my background using the Smooshing Technique on Watercolor Paper and then  added some texture with the Distress Oxides thru the Weaving and Bubble Dance Stencils. I stamped Sentiments from the Strong Women set and finished with some Washi Tape and backed onto pastel purple CS.

For the flowers I stamped the flowers onto Watercolor  Paper and embossed with clear EP and then watercolored them with Distress Oxides and my waterbrush pen. Once dry, I fussy cut them out and shaped and layered them and attached a brad

There, we have it, another fun make using the fabulous stamps and stencils from STAMPlorations. :o) I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty and join in our challenge.

a2z Scrapbooking Supplies~ Thank you Wreath!

Hi crafty friends, I'm here with a little Spring Wreath I made for
https://a2zscrapbookingblog.com/

In keeping with our Watercolor Challenge this month, I turned a Christmas Wreath into a Spring Thank You card!

I used CL907 Layering Wreath and used the flowers in the set to make it a Spring Wreath! The matching dies are on sale here in the shop!

I started by spritzing some Dylusions Spray in Pure Sunshine onto Mixed Media Cardstock. Once that was dry, I stamped the wreath using the green from AF324 Kelly's Outdoor Inks Set  and Hero Arts Lime Green. Then I stamped the flowers from the set using the Pink and Blue from  AF324 Kelly's Outdoor Inks Set andHero Arts Grape Juice.I finished with the bow in Hero Arts Red Royal, because what's a wreath without a bow???? hehe I added a sentiment from Hero Arts "Year Round Sentiments" (Retired). I glued the base down onto some Orange Recollections Cardstock.

There, a fun and vibrant Thank you card....you can never have too many of those. ;o)

Mother's Day in Portuguese!

Hello my crafty Friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at

Our theme this month is:
IT'S SPRING- Use 5 flowers on your project!

Our lovely sponsors this month are:
http://www.bugaboostamps.com/

http://craftybrensembroideredtoppers.weebly.com/
 Prize - £10 Goody Bag
(UK only due to postage)

I had a card request for a Mother's Day card with a Portuguese sentiment and she enjoys gardening...so here's my take on it.

I used the Arched Window Die from La-La Land Crafts and layered that onto an Embossed CS using "Bricks in the Wall" by Couture Creations to make it like her own cottage window with flowers. I went over with White Staz On Ink to get definition in the bricks. The Flower Dies are from MFT and La-La Land Crafts. I cut out the window and used acetate for the "Glass". CS is Recollections.

Here's a Closer look at the flowers:

Here's the Inside flap "Window":

and the other side:
I made the sentiment using Pic Monkey and made a border with "Fantasy Phlox" stamps by Rubber Stamp Tapestry in a variety of memento Dew Drop Inks.

I hope I've inspired you to play along this month and I look forward to your beautiful Creations.

Happy Craftin'!
~hugs~
