Monkey'n Around!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

It's time for another challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.

The Totally Fabulous Tamie is hosting today's

Challenge #208:
Masculine
Now I always have a hard time with Masculine cards, as I have to stop myself from adding Bling or flowers, my 2 go-to embellies! LOL!
I used Moses The Monkey from SkDigi's. I just adore Sonia's images. :o)
I made a center Step card with CS from American Crafts and DP from DCWV. I used Jungle Leaves Die from Sizzix and home-made yellow enamel dots.
I colored the image with SN markers:
Be sure to check out the amazing creations from
the 4 Crafty Chicks- you won't be disappointed!!

Spotlight over at SK Digi's!! :o)

Hello my craftin' Friends!
I have the honour of being in the spotlight at SK Digis today! Sonia has the most adorable digi's; I just love working with them. So you can imagine how super excited I was when she asked me to do this GDT spot. Yep, I did a little Happy Dance! ;o)

I have made 2 cards for today. So let's begin with the first one...

I used  White Xmas Tree 3 & Snowgirl. As this was for a special friend who loves snowmen as much as I do, I went for her favorite color too.....Purple!

I colored the image with SN Markers and used stickles in an assortment of colors for the tree. Finished it off with gems, Snowflakes on a button for dimension and a little bow in the corner.

Here's a closer look at the image:

Now, for my second card I used Merry Christmoose!  I won him a challenge a few months back and this was the perfect time to bring him out to play!
I smile everytime I see this one! hehehehe

Colored Mr. Moose in SN markers and used DP's from DCWV. Glossy accents for his eyes and white gellyroll pen for the highlights. Finished it off with the cute sentiment that comes with the digi, blue dew drops and a strand of christmas lights; like the one's he's got tangled up in his antlers. ;o)

Ok, I love me some Penguins and these were just so cute, I used both!

I colored the image with SN Markers and White Gellyroll for highlights.

I used an ornament pin from Recollections on the "Girly Penguin" and a glitter gem from Close to my Heart on the "Boy" touque {Yep, we say touque in Canada...;o)}

The CS and Ribbon are from American Crafts and the DP is from Recollections. I just loved the vibrant non-traditional Christmas colors. The Snowflake is a prize from a Sentimental Sunday Blog hop.

Ok, how cute is this??? He's cute and oh soooooo scary...hehehehe.

I used the sketch from I {Heart} Card Sketches.

I colored the Image with SN Markers. I highlighted him in Yellow so it appears as if he's "Glowing". I used Glossy Accents on his eyes.

I also used glossy accents to attach the little ghost I got at the Dollar Store. I think he was meant for table decorations...but how fab does it look on the sentiment sticker? ;o)

Both Stickers are also from the Dollar store. The card base is A2 using CS from American Crafts in Dark Purple. The DP's are from DCWV "The Midnight Stack".
