Chocolate is Divine!

Good Morning Crafty friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at

http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.ca/search/label/challenges

For Challenge #224 the theme is:

HANGING OUT!
At least one element on your card
should be off the page.

This challenge I used Sweet Chocolate Bar  and Chocolate Diva.

Now I went with a color combo of Red and Brown...not one I've ever used before. Not sure about it so let me know what you think!

Base is Shimmer CS from DCWV and Red CS and DP's are Recollections.

I used Oval and Scalloped Oval dies from Spellbinders for the image and Labels for the Sentiment (From the Heart Stamps-A Chocolate Affair). I colored the image with SN Markers and Moondust Gellyroll pen (Choc. Box Lid):

I paper pieced the Chocolate Bar with Shimmer CS and Recollections DP- Can you tell I'm a Milk Chocolate Lover??- I finished it off with flowers and Brad from my stash:

I sure hope I've inspired you to join us this challenge! Be sure to check out the amazing inspirations from my Teamies and leave them some luv!

Treat Yourself!

Hello my lovelies! It's time for a new challenge over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges

Our theme this month is
SHOW US YOUR NEW STASH!

Our amazing sponsor is
http://www.mariannedesign.nl/t31/de-producten-van-marianne-design#.UtTcW7Qqf0Q
Prize: 2 Dies OR 1 Die and 1 Stamp

Now without further ado...
I used a new S.W.A.L.K. stamp set "Deserve a Treat" and DP's I got for Christmas. CS is Bazzil.

I stamped the image 3 times. One for the base, 1 for the Sofa paper piecing and 1 more for the top layer which I colored with SN Markers and then cut her out and pieced her onto the other 2 layers.

I used liquid pearls for her earrings and buttons and Glossy Accents on the wine glass.

Nothing beats a good book, a crisp glass of wine and of course CHOCOLATE!! ;o)

I had a lot of fun trying out my new goodies and can't wait to see your creations with your new stash too!

Happy Craftin'!

Chocolate Angel

Happy Friday my lovelies! I was checking out the fun and fabulous posts over at Fresh Brewed Designs when I came across the amazing creations from the Fussy and Fancy DT. Wowwwweeee! They have beautiful projects!

I wanted to play along with their Chocolate Challenge so here is my card...

The stamp is Rememberance Angel from Rick St. Dennis. Just love the details of this image! I used my SN Markers and Metallic Gellyroll's to color her. Shaded the image with Brilliance Bronze.  I used Liquid Pearls in Bisque for some dimension. I finished it off with flowers and punched stars in chocolate and caramel browns.

Here's a closer look at the image.

I'd like to enter the following Challenges:

Mmmmmm Chocolate!

Mmmmm Chocolate...that says it all doesn't it? ;o) It really just makes things better sometimes.
For Jellypark Challenges, the challenge this week is to make the SENTIMENT KEY. I liked this....so here's what I came up with:
Here's a closer look at the sentiment and stamp from Close to My Heart "A Chocolate Affair" set.

Since I wanted the sentiment to take center stage, I layered different shades of brown. I kept the embellies simple, again to keep the sentiment key. The ribbon and gems are from Recollections.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
