Faery Ink~ Fae Babes

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I'm here to share a card I made for
http://faeryink.com/

using "Fae Babes" from this month's New Releases! I mean this digi is just too cute for words even!
Nov INSP
I wanted to create a soft and shabby Chic sort of card, so I distressed and inked the edges of all my papers. I kept to pastel pink, green and blue as I didn't want it necessarily gender specific. I then finished with a sentiment from Pure Innocence in Hero Arts Pool- Navy Ombre ink and some enamel dots.

I colored these lil' babes with Spectrum Noir Markers and Prismacolor Pencils:

I'm so happy with how these lil' cuties turned out! Of course I finished the inside of my card to match the front.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope I've inspired you to get your craft on!

So Suzy Stamps- This Tag's for you!

Good Morning my Crafty friends!
I'm here to share a little Gift Tag I made using the newly released Whimsy Tree  from
http://www.sosuzystamps.com/

I started by inking up the Whimsy Tree stamp with Archival Ink in Black onto watercolor Cardstock. I then used the Smooshing Technique (Kristina Werner does a great tutorial) to create a pretty background.

You do this by dabbing Distress Inks (used Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned Coral here) onto acetate, spritzing with water and smooshing down to your watercolor cardstock. Just be sure to dry your paper in between layers/colors so your colors don't get muddy. :o)

I then stamped Flourish Border with Aquamarine Archival Ink at the top of the tag and layered onto Olive green Cardstock.

For the back of my Tag:
I used Flourish Border with Aquamarine Archival Ink and Ornament Swirl with Magenta Hue Archival Ink. I then used the "To" and "From" from the Layering Christmas Trees set in Leaf Green Archival Ink. I finished with Twine in different Olive, Yellow and Orange (to match the distress inks of the front of the tag).

Thanks for stopping by, hope I've inspired you to get Crafty Today and  don't forget about our  Thanksgiving/Fall Challenge going on. If you don't have a blog - you can still enter over at our Facebook group. :o)

So Suzy Stamps~ Fallen Leaves...

Good morning crafty Friends, it's time for a new challenge over at
http://www.sosuzystampsblog.com/2015/11/november-2015-challenge-thanksgivingfall.html

As Canada's Thanksgiving has passed, I went with the Fall theme using Blowing Tree and Fallen Leaf. Aren't these gorgeous?

I tried a new inking technique too, which I found here from Vicki- Stamp Smiles

I kept it fairly simple as I already had a lot going on with the inked background. LOL!

I prefer the stamps inked in Black Archival ink...how do I know? Because I tried it with Embossed colored inks first..hehehe. With all the background ink, the images are not as crisp, so I prefer the Black Archival Ink. :o)

I hope you have fun trying out this fun technique and this month's new releases!
