For this challenge I used Moon Goddess
and made a tag with the pre-colored digi.

I started by priming my chipboard with Gesso and then using different Distress Inks to create the background. I then embossed a border a the bottom and top in aqua. I used texture paste and MB Starry Night Stencil to get some more texture in the BG. I stamped with a CTMH Swirl stamp and Sprayed with mists. Finished with ribbon, flowers, pearls and a metal charm.

Here's a closer look at the beautiful image:

and the sentiment from Hero Arts:

Kindred Spirit

Happy Thursday everyone!

It's time for another challenge over at Creative Knockouts!!

Our challenge for you this week is:

ALL THAT GLITTERS

Our wonderful sponsor this challenge is:
http://www.thepapershelter.com/index.php?main_page=index

I had the pleasure of working with

I made a shaker card and used Sparkle Sequins for that extra glitter. DP is from Recollections and CS is American Crafts. I used Circle and Beaded Circles from Spellbinders and Sizzix Sentiment for the die cuts. Finished it with bling and flowers from my stash.

I colored the image with SN markers and Prismacolor pencils. Used White Gellyroll marker to look like beads in her hair- I thought it was very "fairy". LOL!

Also used a Silver Glitter Gellyroll Marker for more glitter on her wings.
This reminded me I am still NOT a fan of fussy cutting. LOL! But it worked here and I layered half of her with pop- dots to match the Shaker piece depth.

Be sure to check out the GLITTER-TASTIC creations from my teamies and leave them some love!

Happy Craftin'!

"Candy Cane Lane" Inspired!

It's time for a new challenge over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges

INSPIRED BY A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Our amazing sponsor is
http://www.mariannedesign.nl/t31/de-producten-van-marianne-design#.Uzo684X72dw

They have a FABULOUS prize for us!!
How adorable is that stamp??

So one of my favourite Christmas Carols as a Kid was
"CANDY CANE LANE"- so that was my inspiration.

My niece also loves the carol and well eating candy canes, so this one is for her!

I wanted it to be fun for her as she's 7. I used Christmas Candy Fairy from The Paper Shelter.

CS is Bazzil and DP's are from DCWV. Twine, button and pearls (which I colored with SN markers) are from my stash.

Here's a closer look at the colored version of the image:

This reminds me of my niece too, as she's so cute, even when she's mischievous! hehehehe.

Be sure to check out the wonderful creations from my teamies for their CHRISTMAS CAROL INSPIRED cards.
