Crafting When We Can Challenge #53~Seasons~

As promised, here is my first post as a DT for CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN CHALLENGES.

The theme for Challenge #53 is SEASONS.

We want to see how you illustrate Seasons either with an image, colours, items, sentiment etc.

I used the fabulous Picnic digi.  

Summer for me, is picnics with Family and Friends, Bright colors and flowers. So I started with a flower shaped card I created with my Cricut. I colored the image with my SN Markers and cut it out with the circle die from Spellbinders. I highlighted the embossed edge with my stardust marker.

The sentiment is from Create with TLC and layered on a fabric flower from My Mind's Eye. All the cardstock is from American Crafts. I finished it with resin flower from Close to My Heart Stamps and paper flowers from recollections. The pearls are from my stash.

Beary Special- {Pin}sperational Challenge #74

It's time for another Challenge over at

 {Pin}sperational Challenges.

I had the pleasure to work with Butterfly Friend from Stamp Art Design By Kathryne.

 Here's what I came up with: 

I colored the image twice with SN markers and layered it onto the base card. The sentiment is also from Stamp Art Design By Kathryne.

I love the soft colors of this card~ Pink and grey are one of my favorite color Combos. They just go so well together! The DP is Floral Fantasy by Louise Tiler and the CS is Glitter Cardstock from DCWV.

I used a lot of punches on this Easel Card. MS Punch Around the Page- Vintage Floral for the top Base and also added a  layer on the bottom card. The largest Square Swatch from Spellbinders that the image was layered onto.

 Cheery Lynn Designs Exotic Butterfly Dies, EK Tools Butterfly Punch and Marvy Mini Butterfly Punch were used for the Butterfly Embellishments.

I used a soft grey lace, light pink pearls and flowers to finish off the card.

This is a great card for that "Beary Special" Someone! ;o)

Craft Your Passion Challenge #179- Glitter & Gloss

Hello Crafty Friends, it's time for another Challenge over at Craft Your Passion Challenges. The theme this week is GLITTER & GLOSS. So bring on the sparkles, glitter, bling, glossy accents...anything that showcases your glitter & gloss!

I got to work with the wonderful Digi Angelica Crafting. Such a cute image...perfect for all the crafter's out there. :o)



 

I colored the image with SN markers. Here's a closer look at Angelica.

 

Glossy accents was used on the 3 hearts she's crafting, the heart on her shirt, label on her craft can and paintbrush. Stickles was used on her shirt, around the collar and the paper flowers from Recollections. I used bling in different shapes and colors to round out the theme. :o)

I used a lot of layers on this card in shades of blue and pink.  The DP is from recollections and the CS is from American Crafts. Bakers twine was used with a Bling Button to finish it off.
